i actually posted some of this in reply to rebel's thread..."for those of us with no opinion".
i feel that everyone should have an opinion and this is mine.
i feel some things i had to address and i can't just sit on my hands quietly anymore.. i think in the long run...no one really likes war, even then so-called "pro-war" people.
Well thanks so much for the support and nice compliments. Like I said before I just felt that things had to be said and I'm glad that I could help. Thanks to those for the IM's and PM's.

I was told at the age of 16 and a half that if I didn't like the rules and didn't follow the rules I could leave. I went over to a friends house to watch a movie...fell asleep missed curfew...and went home later that evening to find all my stuff packed and my mom said "you know what you were told now leave". I tried to plead my case but she would hear none of it and I was banished.

(note from mom -- cruzanheart -- our jennie, who is 9 years old, wanted very badly to join the forum, so we agreed that she could as long as she posts and reads while sitting on one of our laps, for censorship purposes!
she wrote the following essay over the weekend after we had a talk with her about the circumstances surrounding her grandfather's death.
she's letting me type it, but the spelling and punctuation is hers.).
((((((((((Jennie))))))))) Welcome to you!!!!!
I am very glad that you wrote about this. I feel myself like it is an important thing to talk about because I think that everyone sometime in their life has to deal with a death like this.
When I was in high school I had a friend that killed himself. It was one of the hardest things that I had to deal with growing up. A big thing that I dealt with was that I was feeling guilty because I felt like I should have known, and I should have helped him so that he wouldn't have done that. That was 12 years ago, I was 15 at that time, and with age I have come to understand that it wasn't my fault and there was nothing that I could have done to stop him.
I think that your Granpa was a very lucky man to have such a beautiful Granddaughter like you. You have a very big heart and it shows.
If you would like to be penpals to chat or just write I think that would be great! [email protected] You can email me anytime
Many hugs and Much love to you!!!!!!

Borgfree...
I totally agree that the other topics bring heated discussion...but the other subjects that get heated are not currently everywhere we look, much like the war is right now...I know it easy to say turn off the tv, radio and don't read the papers, but maybe some just need a break form the war?
Damn...It's still early on in the war, who knows how long this could go on for??
Thanks for your honesty
