I absolutley believe in God the father and Christ his son. Many of my prayers are answered (not all of course) and by virtue of the natural world around me. I can feel God. I have no doubts. Love to all.

I have known for 40 yrs. plus it was not Dec. 25th. This April thing sounds le-git to me!

the meetup

Help finding a scripture
by jookbeard inbeen trying to find a scripture i think o/t that is used to counter react the wts twisting of their adherence to abstaining from blood and all things strangled etc, the scripture speaks about if you obey a law of god that could threaten your life that you should rather save your own life rather than adhere to the law, anyone know where i'm coming from?

Being a Jehovah's Witness Can Make You Fat
by WTWizard inas there has been some talk lately of a crackdown on obesity (in the form of the great boasting session), it might be time for a thread about how being one of jehovah's witlesses can lend one to becoming fat.. first, my personal situation.
when i was in college, i gained the 4x15 pounds that were supposed to be gained in college, and it was only my sophomore semester.
it was legitimately my fault.

Well, I have beeen to get-togethers (They have a lot) where there is soooo much horrible, fattening food, and then they all sit around and talk and eat some more, and then comes 50 or more desserts (Everyone brings something). It would make anyone feel bloated! I know they think they are walking it off, but they walk at such a slow pace. Unless, that's only in Florida. Imagine in Missouri, where that state has the honor of being the state with the most obese people in the U.S.
