Not to mention saying "Good Luck" and z'Happy Birthday!zzzzz' I remember I was at a convention and a woman was to have surgery soon. So I said Good Luck and they all came down on me like I said I hope you die! They said by saiying Good Luck, you are praying to the "Lucky God"....can you imagine?

YES . I believe in the Son of God, Jesus, who came to earth to redeem all who believe in him. It implies TRYING to follow his example as a human being, meaning following his commandments. If you are a studier of the Bible and understand his parables, you would under stand those as a Christian. A Christian is one who believes Christ died for our sins and when he prayed in Matthew, "thy Kingdom Come, they will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven" that this will happen eventually! eytc. etc.

The last time I experienced rapture was whern I was 36 years old! Seriouly folks, Paul say's all the SAINTS will be called. I don't believe in the Rapture as taught by Jack Van Empe and his lovely wife Drexella, or Prunella, or you know, that odd looking wife of his!

Who REALLY is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?

1 page 805. as we all know when the term faithful and discreet slave is used by the witnesses it is usually always about the governing body.
in most prayers we hear at the meeting we hear the brother asking jehovah to direct the fds.. notice who the insight book says the faithful and discreet slave is,.

Just got back from the Public Talk/WT study......very disappointed
by R.F. inso i finally went back to the sunday meeting after missing it for over a month.
i've been to the tms/service meeting a couple of weeks ago by the way, but i've consistently missed the one for sunday.. i dreaded going, but i think i will go to the sunday meetings every couple of weeks for a while.
between my dad and another factor, i think it will be best to go that route for a while.

I WANT MY 40YEARS BACK. I remember a sister telling me that when the Watchtower or the society tells the witnesses it's time for all them to go somewhere "safe" till it's all over, I was asked if I would go. I said to the sister "You would go if a "man" told you to go? She trusted it that much. I myself, would not. Glad to be out of it as well.
