It's moot. I would never find myself in that situation. And if, I did I would certainly leave it to someone else. When I am out dining, I bow my head and say a silent prayer...takes a second or two. I pray to MY GOD.

The point is, NOT to say it. It is a mdel prayer: For example, and this is personal.
First of all the scripture says: in Matt. 6:9-Our father in the heavens, let you're name be sanctified,( or Hallowed be thy name) if thats in you're bible.
When I pray, I say "either Dear heavenly father, or Dear Jehovah God (Been adressing him as Jehovah since I was 18 and am 57 now, old habits are hard to break) not that I care to break this one. I usually start by thanking him for all I have, the beautiful day, a comfortable bed and roof over my head, the nature so beautiful. Thanking him for the food I have to eat, and to forgive my sins.. I ask to be a better person and able to forgive my neighbors, friends (Hard for me to do, not ask, but forgive). I ask him to keep the evil of Satan away from me and mine and not to let him draw me into temptation. Then I always thank him and pray to him in Jesus's name. GET THE MODEL PART NOW?

It's funny. My girlgriend (also a former witness) we have a laugh at the Talbots Catologue, because it is the epitome of the Wealthy Well Dressed Witness. Other than that, I know many who shop in consignment, thrift shiops and the like. And there is always JC Penny. (and that's sooo repetitive in itself)

Help! Elders are after me-need advice!
by love2Bworldly inhi--3 times this weekend 2 elders came to my door asking for me by name (my kids answered the door).
apparently my jw sister notified the elders about the letter she received from me several months ago and gave them my new address.
my letter was very clear about how i felt about the watchtower society and i have not stepped foot in a kingdom hall in about 15 years, and the last 8 years of that was sporadic at best.. why should i talk to people i did not invite to my home, when i know they are coming to condemn me?

I, myself, have a typed page (actually 4 pages) of my personal complaints, lies that were told to me, etc. etc. Just in case they come back for me. I did this because my memory is shot from M.S., but I found it to be comforting that I have it, quite close to the door so I can expound on the questions, lies, etc. But that's just me!

car groups regularly drive by our house to check it out.
an elder said he saw ... gasp ... a christmas tree this past christmas (which he had to have snuck a look through a side window because our front windows always have the shutters closed!.

I really don't know how true this is. But when I was a DUB I heard some of the ladies (Sisters) drive around and look at houses...picking out the one's they want to live in after the end comes. They felt that protected. Also, I was told by a female "elder"..meaning a sister raised in the truth for 86 years..that after the end comes we could still be living right in our own homes. Providing, of course, that we we Baptised Witneses and true to the cause!

All the Evangelicals have there own system for the Daniel prophecy. Last one I heard was 2069.....and another one was 2012..and another one was 2023...and on and on...
