65Colorado Flooding Near My House
by dazed but not confused inhere are some picture in my neighborhood.. our house was not affected.
there is possibly more flash flooding expected tonight.. in the picture below our house sits at the bottom right corner about 2 blocks out of frame.
yesterday and tonight we are staying in another town with family.. .

Every time I talk to my mom, she sounds like she is sick or dead tired, she acts so sad...

i am trying to call and stay in touch and act like everything is okay, but its really starting to depress me.
my dad doesn't call or text.

Your father has been a very strong and faithful elder for decades, i served with him for a while and he's behaving in such a way with you ( asking you about the weather) he really does not have much to talk about or have much in common with you anymore because you have become inactive and without faith in the watchtower : " MOTHER ORGANIZATION", he cannot talk to you about meetings, latest "new light", convention and so on because you are living in a complete different world than he is. There is not much in common anymore and the sooner you accept that the sooner you'll be able to move on with your life and live a happy life with your wife and daughter.
I have been thru it many years ago, had family and friends by the hundreds in many different states and none of those "brothers, friends and relatives" talk to me anymore.
The only hope if your father starts doing some thinking himself about the organization and come to conclusion that the watchtower is not the " truth" but just another religion with its interpretation of the bible .....but don't hold your breath on that. It took me 32 years to realize that and the same amount time yourself to see what the watchtower is all about.
Hang in there and do best best to cope with it.

No one has been chosen or cleansed by anybody. Any claims is just fantasy or a big lie. Don't spend too much time worrying about this stuff and waste your preciuos time.

by nolongerconfused inperhaps, one of the most arrogant and contradicting behaviors of jdubs.... what is the difference between celebrating a baby shower and a birthday?...they both have ancient origins, from pagan people, including egyptians and the greek.... have you guys noticed any other hypocrite celebrations/behaviors jdubs engage in?.

what is amazing is how many have turned their back on the king or was it they had no faith in the first place and the spiritual food they received did not help them stand upon a rock.

It all sounds good what you said and i am ready to have a relationship with him but it cannot be a one way relationship.
I promise you that if i hear from him personally and he can show me in person that he truly is what the bible says and has the power to do what he claims, i will follow him.....so far have not heard from him.
Right now he is as real to me as Santa Claus.
Santa Claus is for the kids......if you are good he will bring gifts and if not you get nothing, stocking full of coal.
Jesus is for the adults.....another fantasy, another Santa Claus,big daddy in the sky, if you're good you will receive nice gifts,
if you're bad...you will burn in hell.
