In heaven, you'll truly be free to do the things you can only dream about.

And if it's Jehovah, you can't even have a blowjob!

But could you really do everything you want? How about killing people? How about going to Earth and haunting people you once knew? How about making your own planet with living beings? Even 'free will' in heaven must have boundaries to make it less than free, surely?

i know it's emotive and i know some will fundamentally disagree that this is good news at all but i believe it is.. .

from the bbc; regulators have agreed in principle to allow human-animal embryos to be created and used for research.

but scientists wanting to use hybrids will still need to make individual applications, the human fertilisation and embryology authority said.

But upon entering heaven (which I'm saying exists for the purpose of this discussion) do we still have free will? If we're not robots in heaven, then what will allow us to be 'us' and do the things we want if not free will? I suppose this can be applied to a paradise too, if anyone still believes in that.

i am interested to know what you know about jesus and what you really think of his teachings.. the bible says there is only one way to heaven.. jesus said: "i am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father but by me.

" (john 14:6) .

the lord jesus was crucified and shed his precious blood to wipe away our sins (revelation 1:5).

Free will.

All the contradictions and errors in the Bible aren't needed for thinking it didn't really happen anyway. Lord of the Rings has less errors, and that story certainly didn't happen.

Why can't you think for yourself? Why are you relying on the apologetics to do it for you? It seems incredible to me God's perfect word needs to be defended by apologetics, but there we are.

We're separated from God, yet God is everywhere? This all gives me a headache! If this God is real, he's made it extremely hard to understand all this and be saved! It's almost like he wants most of us dead/ roasting forever.

I think it's a nice try.

You have decided the first two heavens are different. There is nothing at all to indicate this. Both are called the 'firmamant of heaven'. Within the same chapter. Unless it's extremely bad writing, those heavens mentioned are one and the same.

When you go swimming, do you like to swim in glass? Obviously not, as glass and water are completely different things.

"I looked out into the crowd and saw a sea of faces." - Would this person be saying people were water? Of course not! 'Sea' does not mean 'water'.

This is the water canopy again, because they thought stars were so close. Water, heaven, water.

You are adding to what is written. It doesn't say they didn't understand right there and then, but after they calmed down they did. It says 'but they did not understand what he was saying to them'. Full stop. The end. You can add stuff to it in your head by all means, but it's not found in the Bible itself. You're adding to God's 'perfect word' to make sense of it.

Hibie, none of that is in the Bible. There is no second or third heaven mentioned. No 'sea of seperation' outside the universe. No heaven full of stars AND a heaven within our atmosphere. There is one heaven mentioned in Genesis. One. You have made all of that up to get around the problem.

The reason people wrote that is because they didn't realize stars were so far away, they thought they were 'set' (another mistake) not very far above them. It shows the Bible was written by people with very little scientific knowledge. Why are you adding in all this extra heavens stuff? Isn't adding or taking away from what is written going against God?
