If given this choice, which one would you choose?

if you had to live life without one of your five senses, which one would you choose to give up.....sight, hearing, smell, touch, or taste?

and why?.

My intitial reaction was smell, because I don't use it...

I don't need smell to work on computers so my job would be safe. Nature hates me anyway, and the last time I tried to stop and smell the roses I inhaled a bug.

But I might actually give up taste. That would also not harm my job or day-to-day life. BUT it would enable me to eat only healthy things that I wouldn't otherwise eat if I could taste it. I could go on the perfect diet. Eat broccoli, and cabbage, and all my veggies and fruit, without being tempted to eat chocolate. I would drink water instead of Pepsi with every meal.

So I'd either give up taste or smell. It would be a tough decision, but I'm pretty sure taste would be the one to go.

HEY!! My beautiful, beautiful thread!

To get it slightly back on track: I don't pray anymore, and when I did pray, I wasn't on JWD. But when I did believe, I prayed before going to bed, at every meal, twice at every meeting, when I woke up, and maybe some extra if something of importance happened. That's an average of 5 to 9 times a day. Only about 30 seconds each. I currently have an average of 1.73 posts a day. And they are normally really big and take about 20 minutes to type. But I do spend a LOT more time than that reading JWD. So I definately spend more time on JWD than I used to spend praying. Of note is the fact that I got more responses the very first time I posted than I got from all my prayers combined.

Well my older sister just gave me a painting. No occasion. She just decided to paint a picture for me. I'm really not into art, but I like it. It's in a nice frame and everything. I assume she bought the frame too.

As far as I can remember, this is the first real 'present' I've recieved in over 5 years. I've been given stuff, but it's normally second-hand electronics that somebody broke, and they gave it to me because I can use it and they can't. This on the other hand, was made with the specific intention of being given to me.

So now what do I do?
