If you believe in Evolution then your a fool! God really is REAL!
by Blackboo inhere are some questions evolution never bring up or will evade questioning.
these are serious questions that kill all the silly beliefs about how the earth or universe got here..and here is why.
think about this for a second we would not be here if nothing for all existence did not exist.

Here are some questions Evolution never bring up or will evade questioning.
1. What is existence? What are nothing?
Evolution will never bring those up because they are completely unrelated to the theory of evolution. Evolution explains how one species can change into another over time. It does not define words.
These are serious questions that KILL all the silly beliefs about how the earth or universe got here..and here is why.
Evolution is not a theory of how the universe got here. Evolution is a theory of LIFE. You are refferring to the big bang, planet formation, and abiogenesis. They are all completely independent of evolution.
Evolution happens whether god created the planet or not.
Think of it as a DARK picture showing NOTHING but blackness. How can Life spring if ANYTHING did not EXIST.
Who says that anything did not exist?
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy/matter cannot be created or destroyed, so therefore it is logical to conclude that the universe has ALWAYS existed in some way.
However. If you believe that life cannot come from nothing, then where did your god come from?
Your answer will invariably be that he ALWAYS existed. Since you already accept that some things can exist without a cause. Then why would you conclude that it is a highly complex unprovable intelligent diety, and not a universe? Or even a single particle?
How can matter, gases, and LIGHT just APPEAR with no EXPLANATION.
Yeah, this is a tough question and it needs more research, but there are several hypotheses. One you might find interesting... if you acutally care, is virtual particles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_particles
Once matter exists, the big bang explains how it formed into the universe we know today. You should have learned this in school, so I think I'm safe not posting a link.
Its mighty funny how intelligent and sincere these folks who preach these silly fairy tales about life as fact is down right insulting to anyone with common sense and a God given brain to reason.
Common sense is... common. It is not a reliable guide for finding true facts.
Whether or not you find something insulting has no bearing on whether it's true or not.
2. How can random non-living matter create human beings on its OWN with any THOUGHT OR MIND??? Think about it folks..lets be real here.
This, again, is abiogenesis, not evolution. Which explains why evolution never tries to answer this question.
This video is AWESOME for explaining abiogenesis, and easy to understand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozbFerzjkz4
I highly reccomend it.
3. How can anything EVOLVE WITHOUT A MIND?
Well, most animals do have minds.
But it's not about intelligence, it's about fitness. If a mutation makes an animal better able to reproduce, then the animal will survive and pass on it's genes. This applies to animals, people, plants and viruses.
Its very obvious that the Sun, Moon, and Stars are a product and evidence of God.
Now your just being silly, you should have learnt about star and planet formation in 5th grade.
It's a simple matter of dense clouds in space colapsing in on themselves from their own gravity forming a sphere.
I don't see anything about a the moon. A big round rock, that indicates any from if intelligence!
4. How can the Universe be AWARE of ANYTHING much less ETERNAL?
I don't think it is. The universe is everything we know of. I don't think the universe is intelligent. That's definately not an evolutionary teaching.
And then you just start calling us fools, for which I will direct you here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdVucvo-kDU

NewLightFlashLightStrobeLightBlackLightFleshlight!
by oompa ini may have posted this before, but could have been really drunk and don't remember.......i am soooooo sick of hearing about new light from the wt.
for lurkers and newbies here....have you ever found one single incident in the bible where god decided to reveal or teach false teachings first....and then.......reveal the truthful teaching later?
why the hell would god want to teach a falsehood, then later clean it up to make it "the real truth"....and yet that is what has been going on for the last 100 plus years?
-
LtCmd.Lore
short, no. The first is a national jurisprudence. The second is a personal code of conduct.
but there are Jewish rules, and Christian rules.......so you would have to find new light in the Jewish truths, and the Christian truths
Works for me!
Sort of like the fact that only judges are allowed to have someone put to death. A civilian couldn't decide to execute a murderer on his own.

So are we proving that what WTS does is okay?
Sorry, but it's better for them to hear it from an apostate then to get all distraught about it then ask their elders. And then the elders tell them the same thing.
That would be a very faith strengthening experience. If you just want to spread misinformation then you'll live up to the JW view of apostates.

(Deuteronomy
19:21)21 And your eye should not feel sorry: soul will be for soul, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.(Matthew
5:38-39)38 "YOU heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’ 39 However, I say to YOU: Do not resist him that is wicked; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other also to him.Does that count?

Would Jesus have done a better job than Jehovah?
by JH inin the bible, the god of the old testament seems to be so harsh and unforgiving, while jesus seems so nice.... makes me wonder if jesus would have been god almighty, if the world would be a better place today?.

LOL, I'd agree with them, just to see how they respond:
Nut: "God hates you"
Me: "Yup"
Nut: "God hates you because YOU'RE A SINNER"
Me: "Yup"
Nut: "IF YOU'RE A SINNER THAN YOUR GOING TO HELL!"
Me: "Yup"
Nut: "DO YOU WANT TO BURN FOREVER?"
Me: "Yup"
Nut: "..."
end of discussion.

Why believe god?
by LtCmd.Lore inassuming for the sake of argument that the bible is inspired of god, why do you trust this god?.
how do you know anything he says is true?.
for all you know, satan may have created everything, and then yahweh came in to take the credit.. for all you know, yahweh may just like messing with people.
-
LtCmd.Lore
I've wondered similarly. What if Satan is the 'good god' and Jehovah is 'evil' and convinced us that he's good. Any by worshipping Jehovah, we're actually worshipping the devil...
Yeah, after this recent thread about the presumably evil things that Yahweh did, the general consensus among believers seems to be:
"I don't care what evil things god did because he's omnipotent" or
"I trust that it wasn't evil because he's omnibenevolent " or
"I'm not going to even think about it, because god is omniscient and I shouldn't question his judgement." Well, how do you know he's omnipotent, or omnibenevolent or omniscient. You only have his word that he is!
Burn, I realize that you are probably trying to immitate Jesus, by answering a question with another question. But generally the counter-question is supposed to be in some way related to the topic at hand. <parody style="BurnTheShips"> Pharisees: "So Jesus, What do you think? Is it lawful to pay head tax to Caesar or not?" Jesus: "If you tied buttered toast to the back of a cat and dropped it from a height, what would happen? " And the crowd went away astonished, because crazy people are astonishing. </parody> -

Assuming for the sake of argument that the Bible IS inspired of god, why do you trust this god?
How do you know ANYTHING he says is true?
For all you know, Satan may have created everything, and then Yahweh came in to take the credit.
For all you know, Yahweh may just like messing with people. (And that would explain a LOT!)
He might be somewhat-powerful, but not ALL-POWERFUL, and can't really keep any of his promises.
He might have just FOUND the Earth, and decided to use his limited power to convince everybody that he made it.
He might have already LOST the battle of Armageddon, and Satan left humans humans to rule themselves.
He might be smart, but not omniscient, and he doesn't really know WHAT'S going to happen.
Just curious, if you think that the Bible is inspired of God, why do you believe God?
Just wishful thinking?
Because you have no other choice?
Why?

Was there any benefit to being an Israelite?
by jwfacts induring the time of the israelites, non-israelites with no connection to the nation could have a relationship with jehovah; for example, job.. there also appears no lasting benefit to being an israelite, as all people will receive a resurrection.. the watchtower uses the israelites as evidence that jehovah needs an earthly organization.
however, the only real purpose of the israelite nation that i can see was it led to christ.
is the nation of isreal really an indication jehovah requires an earthly organization?.

Well you get the great priviledge of no longer being a slave...
But then again, they openly said that they'd rather go BACK to Egypt, so apparently they weren't being treated to badly. Plus the Egyptians had very little to gain from beating them to death. Plus they took care of their slaves, and it was in fact illegal to abuse slaves in Egypt... Whereas god can poison you with Quail, bury you in the ground, burn you alive and get you eaten by animals. Plus you have to slave for Yahweh anyway.
So freedom from Egypt is a lousy benefit.
Your food is given to you every day!
But then again, it's the same stinking food day after day, week after week, year after year. Besides, the Egyptians fed them too. and they gave them REAL food.
So free food is a lousy benefit.
You are given the perfect law of God!
But then again, the code of Hammurabi is better and more inclusive, and it was around LONG before the Mosaic Law. And the Egyptians had a better legal systems than the Israelites EVER did. Plus the 'perfect' law of god, doesn't bother to comdemn slavery, or pedophilia. And gives super lenient laws on rape. It instead focuses mainly on how much you have to pay the priest.
So the mosaic law is a lousy benefit.
You get to be ruled by God!
But then again, gods rule is pathetic FAILURE, and it only improves when he elects a human king. But since the King is chosen by god, instead of the people, the kings generally suck too.
So the rulership is a lousy benefit.
You know that justice will always be carried out!
But then again, god did kill 70,000+ people simply because the leader that he chose, decided to take a census (possibly at the request of god.) And not even the Leader knew WHY. I'm not sure how it can be called justice if nobody knows why the punishment was carried out.
So the justice is a lousy benefit.
You have a chance of being an ancestor to Christ!
Well that's lame anyway, worse yet, it's not even neccessarily true! Joseph was the one that came through the line of David, but he wasn't really the father. So change that to 'You have a chance of being the ancestor of a guy who's wife gets raped by god'
So the ancestry is a lousy benefit..
I'm all out of ideas!
In conclusion, you are worse off than you were as a slave, the food sucks, the laws suck, the rulers suck, the justice is faulty, and you may or may not be related to somebody who was a fake relative of somebody important.
