Gill, I am in no way trying to stop the airing of this. I WANT it to air. I just thought someone could go and give an anti-witness to the "p***Y" whipped person who actually filmed this piece of crap.

I am surprised
by DazedAndConfused ini thought my initial post about this was important, at least more important than this post "fluff thread - what's your view on farting in public?
" please read on.. i started a thread entitled "free knocking preview on thursday in pittsburgh, pa." i thought a few people at least, if not a lot, might respond with thoughts about how to approach this subject if one to were to actually go to this "free" viewing and discussion.. i am specifically alerting others that it is a free showing of the program and that the director is going to sit down and discuss this program (free i might add) with anyone that wants to discuss it.. i am not from the pittsburg area and was hoping someone might go to the viewing and state "our" views on the knocking program.
i have seen many threads dealing with the program and thought someone might be interested in anti-witnessing.

OK OTWO, I have no idea how to present my case to others. Can you present important things in this thread or at least give your expert opinion in another "intelligent" thread? Apparently I don't have the finesse it takes to deal with most people.

My initial post was many days ago. I am surprised it did not merit a response from my local (US) responders.
Thanks for acknowledging my post.

Church members escape harm in apartment fire Stephen Wall, Staff Writer Article Launched: 04/30/2007 12:00:00 AM PDT
SAN BERNARDINO - About a dozen church members were rousted from a meeting Sunday night after a fire that started on a first-floor apartment raced upstairs, where the meeting was being held.No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported at 7:21 p.m. in the Indian Creek Apartments in the 1900 block of West College Avenue, said Tom Rubio, spokesman for the San Bernardino Fire Department.
About 25 firefighters put out the two-alarm fire in 15 minutes.
The fire is under investigation, and arson investigators were on the scene with the department's arson dog, Rubio said.
The American Red Cross provided housing assistance to the occupant of the downstairs apartment. It was gutted, said Fire Department spokesman Jason Serrano.
The people in the upstairs unit were Jehovah's Witnesses who were wrapping up a party when the fire broke out.
"We were upstairs saying our goodbyes standing by the stairs," said Lynn Thompson, who was visiting the upstairs apartment. "I said, `What's that smell?' Someone said it was just a barbecue. I said, `It doesn't smell like a barbecue."'
Thompson said her group was lucky to escape the flames.
"If we didn't get out when we did,
we would have been trapped," said Thompson, a San Bernardino resident. "I'm hurt and numb and scared."
Serrano said the fire caused about $175,000 in damage to the building, plus a $5,000 loss in personal contents.
The upstairs unit sustained interior smoke damage and exterior fire damage, Serrano said.

I am not from the Pittsburg area and was hoping someone might go to the viewing and state "our" views on the Knocking program. I have seen many threads dealing with the program and thought SOMEONE might be interested in anti-witnessing. I know Danny Hazzard is relatively close and I was hoping someone like him would go. I also have been informed that there are many in the area. Am I hoping too much?
Come on people, let's not only inundate a website to the point of it shutting down. Can someone go to the viewing and anti-witness for us?
*edited to add that I felt this is more important than farting.

PBS show screening
Point Park University will screen the upcoming PBS "Independent Lens" documentary, "Knocking," at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 212 of the University Center, 414 Wood St., Downtown.
"Knocking" follows two families who are Jehovah's Witnesses and explores the religion's tenets. The film's director, Joel Engardio, will attend and discuss the film after the free, open-to-the-public screening.
Anyone in Pittsburgh that wants to go view and discuss this with the director? It could be an interesting opportunity to anti-witness.

Death Knell -- the Internet for the WTS
by Francophile ini'm new here -- i confidently disassociated in 1994 (but really left the organization in 1992).
i was a ministerial servant and gave talks at conventions.
i'm not bragging, but just giving you an idea of my involvement.

sir, I understand your scepticism but in my experience things can be wierder. One of the elders that disfellowshipped me became an elder after only being baptised for 6 months. In smaller congregations in far-a-way places this can happen due to not having enough "able bodied men."

The parents, who have never spoken to the media, are Jehovah's Witnesses whose religion forbids blood transfusions under any circumstance.
What I don't understand with all of this is, what about the new way of thinking about JW's being able to receive blood fractions? If I were a parent concerned about my children I would latch onto that and see if there is a way that this could work into my favor. This statement above straight out says no blood under any circumstance.
Also, isn't there something in writing that states that taking blood is a congregants (sp) choice and if they chose to take blood no action would be taken because it is between Jehoober and them?

What's the most stupid comment a JW told you?
by JH ini remember when i was new in the "troof", i was walking in a mall and a jw window washer saw me, and asked, "what are you doing here"?.
yeah, he had a good reason to be at the mall, cause he was washing windows, but i had no business there.... i guess he thought that i was being seduced by material stuff.... and i was stupid enough, not to tell him, mind your own business fu**er....

Despite being the best teenager I/we could be, (and that is hard!!! LOL) my mother still had the gall to say"
"You kids are worse than worldly kids."
To this day she will not admit she said that, like so many other things she refuses to acknowledge.
