I am a pain in the ass but I try to make people laugh even when I am serious.Apt to say anything anywhere anytime to anybody.I go for shock value.Apt to get shot in the face someday but I will bleed all over em.

by nicolaou ini think i come across as a bit agressive online but in reality i know i'm extremely chilled - lazy some might say.
i'm greek you see and we do so love to argue the toss - loudly and insistently - and then have a game of tavli (backgammon) afterwards.
thing is most of my family are still jw's and as i can't do it with them you guys end up getting both barrels!!.

The "Sovereignty" Doctrine is Stupid
by metatron inperhaps some of you had to suffer thru the society's latest special talk in which they rehashed the idea that our evil world exists.
because satan's challenges have to be answered.. .... but no one ever reasons on what a truly dumb idea this is!.
the dumb part of it is the fact that jehovah is said to sustain the universe, "making it rain upon the wicked and the righteous".. there is simply no way that god could be challenged on a "moral" basis since there is no way to ever prove that god.

lol.....i would always ask extremely difficult questions about the "troof" to my parents during our "watchtower family indoctrination hour"........ my parents often got so pissed off i would sent to my room without supper!

I complained that we only had them when I wanted to watch tv which was not very often.Never had them if mom wanted to watch something.Corrupt bastards.Yes I behaved but could multi-task my brain.Daydreamed like hell then answer a couple of questions.

How my mind has become more troubled .....
by troubled mind inwell our fade seemed to be going along pretty smoothly even with the slight hitch of having to attend the memorial .
then this weekend good old mother in law who lives a thousand miles away , and talks to us once every few months , called, on speaker phone no less .
i know she has informats here and she has been dropping hints for months that she knows something is up , but she never comes out and just asks .

My son made me proud the other day.
by lowden inmy eldest son (19 in oct') went for coffee he other day with a former associate of his who is still a jw.
the conversation eventually came around to spiritual things and his friend, matt, started firing the questions.
how he felt about the faith, would he go back, did he still believe?.....

almost every time we have a visiting speaker the chairman will ask us afterwards if we would like to send our "love" back to the speaker's congregation.
everyone claps loudly.. has anyone ever heard of that "love" being delivered to the congregation?

I remember a cute blonde in another congregation.........no I am not gonna say anything naughty but all those xxxxx's got my mind going.Her name was G$@% and I looked for her at every CA or DA.Out of 50000 robots I spotted this doll......................That may have been love but the borg seemed to frown on NORMAL so I searched outside for love.....did not want the DRAMA.Just wanted a life but I wonder about her.

by sinis inwell with all the new light threads i started to wonder, is there even one example in the bible of new light?
i've looked and looked but it seems that i can't find anything.
i know certain principles or guidelines were expounded on from the ot to the nt, but you don't hear jesus or the apostles saying adultry is: ok, forbidden, ok, forbidden, etc.. besides the vague scripture the jw's pull out of psalms (i think) on new light are there any other bible examples?
