Wow, what a crappy situation. I hope all works out to the benefit of you, your brother and your mother. Sounds like you and your brother have the smarts of the family. Just make sure EVERYTHING is in writing, signed and notarized before handing over any money for the payment of the irresponsible stepfather's debt. Glad to hear you have a lawyer on the case. At least the good thing is by you and your brother getting the house in your names (if it turns out that way), you won't have to worry about YOUR memories going to unappreciative stepchildren. i had a topic on melaleuca and found out from all the comments that it wasn't what i want to get involved in.
i need to do some type of home based business due to disability situation, i am handicapped and not able to be on the job market anymore so would appreciate any help or ideas at all.

I can understand wanting to keep the room clean, uncluttered and presentable, but to put restrictions on time in bathrrom and phone use? If no one esle needs to use those, just common courtesy would apply. Also, how can he deny a needed area, the kitchenette? Maybe he should take the other room. Who's to say a new roommate can't use it especially if he needs it for medical reasons, special diet, meds, etc.. He obviously has health issues from rule #1. Not a very loving arrangement.

Great movie, one of my faves. The color red signified "bad", it was the forbidden color that drove the beasts out of their territory into the village. The colors were like "invisible boundries".

it was the flyer about the end of false religion.

Yes, I myself was abused physically, sexually and verbally by my JW husband. His mother and father also were mentally abusive to me.

It's covered bridge festival this weekend at our town, so we will eat....walk....eat....walk...eat. Then on sunday prolly try and figure out where the dogs are escaping through the fence and fix it then have some friends over for bbq.
