  i made a tiny comment about the smaller and poorer quality of the wt magazines to my wife (in) she retorted "thats because they are using the internet.!".

  it was not her words and her reply was almost rehearsed no doubt learned at the ms.. pretty good given the wts warnings against all things internet until relatively recently..

  ok i started another thread and every one jumped on me because i was trying to take the theory of evolution out of the mix and most here seem to believe in it so i will just say it.

  the theory of major evolution is crap!

  the theory is falling apart.

  For the first part of your rant, I recommend you read "The Greatest Show on Earth".

  Yea, I told him that in the other thread. Obviously he's not interested in facts, just spewing his nonsense about.

  Saying evolution is crap doesn't hurt anyone's feelings.

  It hurts my feelings to know that people like the OP are going about wasting good air and natural resources.

  You seem to be assuming evolution is a conscious process. Beings do not will themeselves to evolve, they adapt to their environment.

  Last but not least evolutionist can not explain how the laws of physics came about under the evolutionist theory.

  Maybe because the origin of the laws of nature have nothing to do with biological evolution?

  I recommend reading National Geographic. It is very understandable and covers all kind of scientific subjects.

  Good idea. Also to get a good, solid, basic understanding of what evolution is and how it works (because most religious publictions flat-out LIE about what evolution is), I would highly recommend the book "The Greatest Show on Earth" by Richard Dawkins.

  I don't "believe" in evolution anymore than I "believe" the earth revolves around the sun. I understand and know that these things are fact.

  But if you insist on having a creation myth, I might suggest that

  The sons of Borr slaying the primeval giant Ymir in Norse mythology

  Is a way cooler story than YHWH majiking the world into being.

  ..... of course I may be biased on that point.

  so i was randomly watching a show on investigation discovery today - the show was called killer next door, and the episode was called murder without motive.. the show is a french-canadian program that has been translated into english, and this particular episode had to do with a homicide that took place in ste-croix-de-lotbiniere, near quebec city, in november 1999 of a young man named victor lemay.. the confessed murderer was his friend, andre roy, then aged 22.. in the year or so that preceded the murder, andre roy had been disfellowshipped from the jws and had, as a result, been kicked out of his parents' home.

  he had no social support outside of the jws and had to start making new friends.

  the psychologists on the program felt very strongly that the shunning he experienced by the jws in general, and his family in particular, contributed to increasing rage, and that his friend, victor, became a convenient outlet for his rage.
