  Wow, LDH, you go, girl! I bet there are no reports in his congregation files because they didn't put them there! Doesn't mean they didn't get lots of complaints they just ignored. I hope interviews are done at all the Halls he had contact with. If quite a group of kids came forward, imagine the lawsuit!

  Alright, I imagine you can't wait to take a shower, after all that crappola that was thrown your way.

  This is wonderful timing! This hit the news right before the Bloomington, Illinois district convention this weekend! Since this is news in the Chicago area, maybe the public will take a good hard look at who's swarming into their community for this convention! Hope it's very embarassing for them.

  I would be interested in details about the convention, if anybody hears about it. This is the one my parents are going to. I thought they meant Bloomington Indiana, but must be Illinois, since they said it's this weekend. They go to Romeoville for the circuit ass-emblies. I suppose they'll be driving in from Indiana every day, and they don't need to be doing that; they're elderly people!

  here is a few pics of our home...they are not very good though ...lol...i don't have any pictures up yet, most of my plants are setting on my table (still), some stuff is still out in the moving van and our grass is not in and garage is not built (the cut lumber in our yard is going to be milled and used for our deck and garage)!

  she and frank are supposed to find a new care home for their father so today they made arrangements to go together and look for one.

  Cab, that's a horrible situation, him almost acting married to that witchy sister and not to you! How can he disrespect his wife like that? Like many posters advised me awhile back, tell him, if he won't travel with you, you'll go without him! Worked wonders on my husband, when he saw the determined set of my jaw. We are booking our flight to Scotland for September!

  But a short roadtrip won't really fix what's wrong. You're still a spring chicken. Do you want to grow old and bitter with this man and his sidekick, Lori? Could you make it on your own?

  Hahaha, Granny Mouthy called some of yous peoples Little Monkeys! and you're gonna get a spankin! Seriously, I feel very fond of the dudes and dudettes on the board. Nobody else understands what it was like to grow up an elder's kid, not even my husband. He just shakes his head when I tell him I used to try to read my school lessons under the streetlight at eleven o'clock at night,out in the parking lot, while Dad was lingering in an elder's meeting. See, education wasn't important, cuz Armageddon was scheduled for October of 1975. But you guys understand.

  I don't see what's unreasonable about it at all. The police are merely asking for a heads up from the Witnoids so they don't waste resources responding to calls about people in the neighborhoods. They aren't asking the Wits to get permission or anything, just the courtesy of letting them know they intend to work a neighborhood. How hard is that, and why are they making such a big deal of it? Seems like a simple request, and they're making themselves look like buttheads. Aren't they supposed to obey, if it doesn't conflict with God's law?

  i posted a week or two ago that i would stop attending meetings and being an elder.

  i decided to wait on this after we received the june 7th boe letter.

  i was interested in getting more information from other friends & family at bethel.

  It's sad, too, that the guy seemed sincere in his confession. It may be heart breaking for him when he finds out the big fakes blabbed to their wives, who blabbed to everybody else, and now he has no hope of getting his life back together with dignity.

  They'll probably "encourage" the wife to divorce him, even telling her she should get a divorce. They'll egg her on, until she thinks she must put him out of the family home, when left to themselves to work it out, they might have mended the marriage. Jehoopla prefers that, doesn't he, hating a divorce, or does he approve of meddling in a marriage, and backstabbing?

  Not that I would like my hubby getting a lap dance from a stripper, but I hope he never feels he has to! If he looks at some porn, I really don't care; he does it at home and doesn't feel I'm strangling the joy out of his life, or being repressed and prudish.

  Poor JW wives... they're raised to be goody two shoes, then their husbands get bored with them, and go find a topless bimbo for a little excitement! The sisters are unwitting victims too in this unhealthy, unnatural religion.
