  i am a newbie here- but have been reading a lot of the ex jw boards and websites for a while as a newly minted evil apostate :).

  so i remember hearing -here or somewhere else, i can't remember, that tonight at the "theocratic ministry school" or "kingdom ministry school" (???

  aah- i can't even remember if that is the name - i haven't gone to a meeting in ~ 4 years or so) they are going over some new information on the blood issue.

  Probably this one.

  I'm new to meditation - and not very good at it. My mind runs like a racehorse and is way too analytical I'm told. It is important for me to slow down the flow of thoughts occasionally in whatever way I can.

  Somehow I don't think that is what you are getting at. Maybe more like - "selective thinking"?

  Again, the point is, Hollywood missed the point... not many gay sheepherders out there... I guess our society isnt ready for the 'truth' about sheep.........

  Yes, Hillbilly, a sad commentary on this uptight society. eh? And who suffers the most (well, besides the sheep)? The gay sheepherders who can't interact in society the way the straight world does! You ever see a guy taking a sheep to dinner and a movie? Heck, no!

  BTW, I really wanted to like this movie because I like love stories and the two guys are both so danged cute. I had my kleenex and a glass of wine ready. But the characters just never quite grabbed me. Nothing offensive, really. Just not that good. Not enough character development. But the major hype is going to result in an Oscar, you can bet.

  Life will be a lot easier if folks (and sheep) just get over the gay thing. It is here to stay.

  Elders sting operation on myspace

  a certain young person told me last night a jw friend of his from n.y. received an elder visit .

  the suspect was told that the elders had been lurking about on myspace and had caught several young ones with accounts there .

  they told this person's account was benign yet was counseled it was bad association to be on myspace.

  i had a nightmare that had to be based on the movie "diary of a mad black woman".

  i dreamed that my husband left me for a 17 year old hispanic girl.

  she was beautiful and shapely.

  i just heard from back home (puerto rico), about this elder i know (i was good friends with his daughter), that just got df'd for homosexuality.

  this is how the story goes:

  he was an elder for over 20 years and he even claimed to be of the "annointed class'.
