It would have been worth it if TM had cursed at Cedars or said something of any value that brought backlash on him, but you get practically nothing from his end except a few words and a hang up. He didn't lose his cool, in fact he seemingly joked around with him about the tight pants for a bit, then cedars just insults him and he hangs up. To some of us as faders and exdubs this may seem hilarious, but to someone looking in, they wouldn't see it as so funny I'm sure. I really respect Cedars and his site, I have referred other faders there. It was a little disappointing for his reach and visibility to be wasted on a prank.
If TM had blown up and called down damnation and said some crazy stuff, ok, but he didn't.

I think this might have been a little much. Seemed less practical and just personal against TM3. I am sure we all have our negative opinions about individual members of the org, high up or more local. But for such a large audience that Cedar has, I think he pushed his personal dislike for Morris into a not so good place.

i am personally very attuned to body language, facial expressions and general subtleties in human interaction.
there was something about his face that really bothered me, and i will explain it.

All this new JW.org stuff is hurting my brain
by Nosferatu inso i just watched the singing cart video.
i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.
we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.

very good point. That is probably much more realistic. I always had to real myself back into ignorance but it never sat with me, I thought there was something wrong with me and I was just a "bad person". And still I always felt like reading anything they call "apostate" would cause me to get struck by lightening.
Its a house of cards. They are protecting from being toppled so I imagine they are going to get more and more critical of education, and staunch on reading only JW propaganda. But in the process i think they are going to create enough of their own wind to knock down the house of cards for many.

do you think 35 is give or take 5 years is some magic number where we have had enough? It seems like older ones and younger ones are the most gung-ho for this dribble. Or maybe it goes 35-45, I don't know just speculating, but maybe out generations experiences have given us some sort of intolerance expiration date for this crap

As long as there are victims to be had, high control groups will never fully go away, I think Its going to keep changing dramatically as it already has and possibly shrink, or people will just go along for the ride because its all they know. Some part of it is always going to exist -

Its become unbearable. They were playing the new song 137 the other night... they just played the music through once, it was so uncomfortable i left, and took wife with me who is not a fader like me. I said that song just sounds strange, she says its just because its new. This religion has become a full on wacky fest. When that alarm went off on the whole generation, they have quickly traded in doctrine for coloring books, real f%$#ing quick.
