  A New Kitten . . . (Katie Kitten)

  i feel quite giddy making this announcement!.

  katie kitten (louise) text me last night at 11.30pm to tell me to tell you all she's had a litter of one.

  a little boy, josef jack, 8lb 14oz, born 5.55am on nov 15th.. she apparently had a long and somewhat rough time of it and is gonna be in hospital a day or two.. i'll be the first to say congratulations.

  My Daughter

  yesterday afternoon i took my daughter to a beauty school to get her first perm.

  she has been wanting one for a while and i've been resistant until just recently after taking her to a school ice skating party and viewing her classmates...it was time to do this.

  i watched her sit in that chair the whole time, watching her go through the process, she enjoyed the whole thing.

  Lots of new hair dos this week!

  I'm so excited for her! I remember being 10 when my mom let me get a perm! (It was the early 90's when the big hair was still in). I can't wait to see the new picture.

  Being prejudiced

  growing up, my mother was very prejudiced.

  mostly against black people.

  i had no choice on the matter of my skin color.

  There is trash in both races (black and white). For some odd reason, each race has those who are prejudiced and believe that all of their opposing race is "trash".

  I've also noted that it's usually the "trash" who hate the other race's "trash"... It's a case of the pot calling the kettle black. (no pun intended)

  i'm really ready for a change.

  my hair has been the same for two years now and i just want something different.

  i would do it pink or whatever but i have an appointment with my hair cutter person (1 mile from my house) -- not my crazy color person (who is two hours away) .... this one has colored my hair twice and does a great job but she is just not one to do crazy off the wall things.

  Glad you like it Jim -- seems like you "won" -- It's not strawberry blonde but a darker red. The hairdresser said it would look better this way. She always does what she wants! lol

  gossiping , . . I know, I know ... sometimes I just like hearing stuff about other people. I'm probably not much fun to gossip with though because I figured out that you get to hear more when you don't repeat what you hear.

  Things will look different when I actually fix it instead of the hair dresser. I'm not too happy with that part at the moment.

  I wish my husband had a clue how to take pictures (shh... don't tell him I said so). But you can't tell that it's red in this one.. Might have to go retry.
