by aquagirl injust curious,if anyone dosent mind sharing..myself,id been out in the real world for 11 years,married twice,etc etc,and the 'trio of guys in bad suits' came over one night and told me that i was being charged w/adultery and fornication..my then boyfriend,and i laughed so hard that we forgot to sic the dog on 'em...funny,cause one of the guys id lived with,a few years prior,an elders son,not baptized,but in good standing,never got even so much as a stern talking to..i remember one of the last meetings i went to as a teenager.the 'trio" came to my parents house and said that i wasnt to come to meetings braless anymore,that it was disturbing the brothers and making them have impure thoughts..and that by me being in a band,in the 'world',i was opening myself to satan...what a bunch of weirdos.especialy since one of my "fondest" memories is of being out in feield service,alone w/an elder,and him having his pants open in the car,and his penis sticking out the whole time.i was like 10,and wasnt sure exactly what the issue was,guess i was a bit naive,but he kept touching it and looking at me..this was a big cheese elder at the time too..very highly thought of and all..again,what a bunch of wierdos....

Im not DF'd, and I have not as of yet DA'd. But the good ole elders know well that I have read Ray Franz's books among others and that I go on "Apostate" websites. Yet they seem to be afraid to engage with me. Oh well, when and if the time comes, I'll let them have it. Aint gonna hold nothing back.

SURVIVAL INTO A NEW EARTH Quote - what was it and where is it?
by VM44 injust a few days ago someone posted here a very good quote from the 1984 survival into a new earth book.
it contained a statement that was just flat out wrong.
i remembered thinking that it was a very good quote to have for reference.. of course, now i can't find the thread, and can't remember the quote!!!!.

VM, I have the book right in front of me. The only chapter that seems to go along with your search would be chapter 24 "The Countdown Nears Its Zero Hour". On page 184 par 5 its states:
"The countdown that has proceeded for some six millenniums now nears its zero hour. So close is it that people who were alive in 1914, and who are now well along in years, will not all pass off the scene before the thrilling events marking the vindication of Jehovah's sovereignty come to pass"- Mark 13:30.
If this is not it tell me more, I'll look for it tomorrow.

by skyman ini have been looking into the research art d. ehrman from the department of religious studies from the university of north carolina.
he makes a very convincing argument that to me proves the bible verses that make women less human was not in the originals.. paul called women by name some of the women were taking the lead at romans 16: 3-16 in verse 3 say fellow worker prisca (woman).
then verse 7 junias (woman) this is interesting some bibles including the new world translation then says who are men or kinsmen this is not found at all in the older manuscripts so the new world translation and any other translation is in error.

As far as the woman vs. man thing, I just get frustrated with people trying to re-write the Bible when there are just so many glaring facets of it that clearly do not allow for freedom of thought. Religion is all about control. Every religion of every society and people is designed to control people from birth to death and beyond even.
Well said Daniel. Thats why I am done with organized religion. Anyone can almost read anything into any scripture for personal preference. Just look at the WTS, their good at doing it.

A full beard. This is what got me out of the Org. I did research on beards which lead me to question other things, which lead to Freeminds, which lead to ordering Ray Franz books. The rest is history.
