  They upset me and depressed me :~(

  i tried to show the nature of jehovah to my mother and neice by using the story of the levite and the concubine and the awful carnage of the innocents jehovah santioned as a result of one rape and murder (judges 19-21).

  they were both supporting jehovah's sanctioning of the murder of thousands of men, women and children.

  at one point they said that i was getting too precious about the murdered children, that they would inevitably become like their parents, 99% of whom were innocent in this story anyway, and that what good would it do to leave them alive if the bread provider was dead in battle, better to finish them off too.

  Spectrum, I used to be like that trying to defend an indefensible situation but then privately knowing that it confused me too and I could not accept that God would do such a thing. You would be surprised how many JWs privately question this.

  This is exactly how I always thought as a Jdub. Could never understand things like that. For instance I could never get over the fact that God would kill sons for the error of their fathers. ie: King Davids' son. If we truly are created in Gods image, then why does this kind of justice bother us?

  He said: “I can understand why the school has done this and I support the decision. Hot cross buns are a pagan symbol of fertility no different to bunnies, eggs and Easter.

  So does that mean the witnesses in that area are gonna get rid of their wedding rings?

  Bleaching hair (hey it's a process!!) Then adding nice little ruby highlights Piercing nose. Getting a second tattoo (maybe a third)

  so far I've gotten my belly pierced, started smoking some pot, started cursing more because it seems to make me feel better in certain situations, learned how to say NO to people and mean it. I don't have the people pleasing disease anymore. Next is my nost piercing and then some tattoos

  New Watchtower credit card?

  i was thinking how the wt might soon work a deal with mastercard to milk the brothers for some easy money.

  their slogan will be- "there's are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's watchtowercard" they could make millions on credit card fee kickbacks.

  i just need a good logo for this new credit card-hmm- any ideas everyone?

  Elders sting operation on myspace

  a certain young person told me last night a jw friend of his from n.y. received an elder visit .

  the suspect was told that the elders had been lurking about on myspace and had caught several young ones with accounts there .

  they told this person's account was benign yet was counseled it was bad association to be on myspace.

  This reminds me of the story in Ray Franz book about the brothers spying on a sister (I think she was df'd already) having company over her house. They were hiding out in a van with newspaper on the windows with a little peep hole for the camera. They were trying to catch some witnesses that might have visited. The police were called. It was so funny. Just goes to show you how low they will go.
