  i wake up this morning, check my email, and jang has once again filled it with dozens of anti-cult posts from her yahoo group which i was never solicited to join, and never asked to join.. ok, maybe it wasn't dozens but there were several.. jang, i posted to the newsgroup and i am asking you here now to please stop sending me emails/posts and take me off any lists you currently host or will ever conceive of in the future.

  i have asked you this for at least 3 years now and i am still receiving stuff from you.

  did the 1914 generation die anyway?

  ver since the beginning of the watchtower movement, they have had some sort of deadline for god's activities.these activities could be the rapture of the saints (which jws today do not believe in), the destruction of "false religion", ie every other religious group, or the final end of this world.

  earlier, these deadlines were explicit dates.

  just so i don't miss anybody who is interested.... my results from the ekg and the echogram showed a severe leak in a heart valve.

  i am going for an angiogram on the 15th but the cardiologist says the liklihood is great that i will need open heart surgery.

  rare for a 30 year old but if necessary, it is necessary.. no word yet on the results of the blood work for liver enzymes and hepatitis.

  pardon my ignorance, having never been a jw, but what do jw's do on the fourth since they don't believe in flag and country?

  When I was a good dub, I also chastised my wife for wanting to go view the fireworks. I would tell her, "Do you know what those fireworks represent? They represent the BOMBS and GUNFIRE that KILLED people in WARS that JEHOVAH did not AUTHORIZE!!!!!!!"

  So she would go off without me to watch them while I sulked in my righteous indignation.

  Now I am still married to her but I am no longer dubbed as a dub. I have no idea what I am going to do tomorrow night but I am sure she will be off to view the 'works with her dub family as if Jehovah approved of the US of A.
