Common do you really thoguht that JW will change the policy in one shot? They will do small and separated in time gradual changes and at one point in history there will be allowance of blood transfusion, but you wouldn't notice how it happened. And if you do not notice, then JW wont either. They will think and will be tought that the policy was there allways only bad apostates and some unintelligent elders promoted strict blood transfusion prohibition. Just like it is now with 1925 1975

Why Did Adam & Eve Need An Immune System???

here is a question i would like answered intelligently if possible.

i asked my wife and another brother during an informal gathering of friends and was given the typical "wait till the new system, jehovah will answer all questions" response.

for the last year or so i began to seriously doubt the existence of a "loving, caring god".

Well when man have fallen he was changed. Sin affects everything including our physical bodies. Sin ends in corruption. So immune system is God's gift of grace against consequences Sin created. Sin is not just some small mistake, it is very powerfull as you can see in History. And it is so strong that it was necessity of God himself become man to save mankind. Sin affects universe. And if some creature is made by the Image and Likeness of God, then it is exactly what you get when such creature Falls... you get Cosmic cosnequences which have to be cleaned up by similar opposing or greater power. So nobody except God himself couldn't clean up things.
So I believe Adam and Eve got his protection after Fall.

the jws are soon(next few months) going to make a public proclamation against all other churches which he was confident would 'shake things up' and would make a few jws unhappy???.

Guys... this is GOOD NEWS! Then more ppl will Google for Jehovah's Witnesses. Does WT truly things that today ppl are so ignorant about things in the Information Era? What happenned to DaVinci code? More ppl googled for info and meny of them got info about Church true history. I hope in this case ppl will find info about true history of WT. WT have done nice when they published and recorded they deeds through all the century. Today we have plenty of info to judge WT. Let them speak and God will do the rest (in opposite to what WT wants).

Is it less? Where do you get this from?

Don't you know that what we (christians) teach is "that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."
What you see in some particular man, you do not notice in God. God in Christ died for ALL not for some men. So what you see as moral good, you deliberatly miss in Christ. If you want to know God, get to know Christ. Show what is immoral and wrong in Christ? If you can't find it, then claim whay he is not worthy to follow and listen? Do you know somebody better then Christ?

What you are saying is - dont look on Christ, he is not good example, look upon men, they are better. Well I would suggest you to step out of your dream and look upon the world and see what men have done to the world and still claims they are morally better then Christ?

Interesting thing about this scripture is that it applies to John Gospel and what it says is that John Gospel is sufficient to gain ethernal life. So actually you can take single John Gospel and get saved, no Revelation needed, no other books, just this. So the book can be used as very base to explain all other books. Actually Luke 1:1-4 claims similar. So books of John and Luke are the very foundation of interpretating all other scriptures. So basic "rule" of interpretation is very simple, if something simple and clear is stated in these two books, then don't seek other explanation. Most funny part is that both of the books describes Jesus fleshy ressurection. So all the other scriptures should be explained in this light. What cults and JW in particular doo is exactly oposite. They take the base of interpretation from Revelation and book of Daniel, coz these are most symbolic, allegoric books and you can read in your own thoughts without changin text. It is very practical then to apply your interpretation to such celar messages as gospels and epistles. And this is the hat trick what JW can do in front of your eyes and you will not notice.

tomarrow i'm meeting with a jw friend who is connected to what's going on with these elders that came over our house and everything else.

i can't get into details as to how it works out, but this is the important part.

this guy (and elder) can be a quite reasonable person.

Some quick points. 1st go that 70 years are not for Jerusalem but for Babilon. Jews have several exiles even one after destruction (Read Jeremia, in last chapters ther's report of several exiles). Dan 9:2 even does not talk about Jerusalem being desolated for 70 years, what is sayed there is something else, and there is desolationS (plural). Ecehiel 41 shows that exile was before Jerusalem, and there can't be exile if Jewish land is free and not under control of Babilon. year for day rule is out of context, God specifies the rule when it is used, and there is no reason that this is overall rule, coz then day for 1000 years can be taken as rule too

Trinity - HELP!!!

since being in the jw org for close to 35 years (from infant) and recently leaving i have been studying topics like the trinity because i was never allowed to before.

i'm getting so many mixed reviews from the scriptures of whether the trinity is possible or impossible.

" and john 1:18 "no one has ever seen god, but god the one and only, who is at the father's side, has made him known.

First you need to understand what IS trinty. And also you have to get some background in Christology (how Christ can be 100% man and 100% God). Scriptures you cited "against" trinity is not against if you understand what Trinity actually is!

Proverbs 8:22

where it appears to be teaching of jesus being bought forth by yahweh, as the beginning of his way (however not the begging for god has none ).

Several version
1. It is not talikng about Jesus Christ, but it is personificiet Wisdom and it is OK in Proverbs, as it is book of wisdom, so full of alegories and stuff.
2. Trinitarians teach that ethernal Son is generated from ethernal God. Begotten. So not created but ethernally generated.
3. Argument from opposition. If Wisdom was created, so before that God was without wisdom. Jesus Christ is truth, life. So before his "creation" there were no truth nor life? That is absurd.
4. Memra teaching. It is jewish "logos" theory.
Pick which you like. The most weak argument is argument about creation. About each other creation it is pretty clear statements that they are created, but all what JW has about Christ's creation which are btter explained in their immidiate context otherwise and without reading in what JW want to be there.

Is becoming a witness the right thing for me

i've been struggling for quite some time now about continuing my exploration of the jehovah witness faith.

i am a "cradle" catholic and have been very involved with the church.

i started to become disillusioned several months back with all of the tradition, habits, and teachings of the church--which i began to seriously doubt.

Do research before U join. Ask RIGHT questions and demand truthfull answers. Sometimes they want to avoid or without answering does attack on your own church. Don't let them do it, make them answer hard penetrating questions. You can find the questions on internet.
