  JWs in Field Service Today--Christmas.

  i guess the local kh is doing a special field service outing today, which my wife will be a part of...on christmas morning.

  i think this is intrusive and disrespectful.. did any of you do fs on christmas?.

  is this a common thing among jws?

  Muscle cramps

  anyone experience leg cramps?

  that's why i'm up at this hour.

  not just a charlie-horse in the lower leg, but ones in the thigh that have me bolting upright out of bed and immobile for several minutes.

  I get them often, one leg is bad but if I get them in both legs at the same time ouch! ouch! ouch!

  Annual visits to DF'd ones

  i have been disfellowshipped since 2001. does the society still recommend that elders make annual visits to encourage people to come back?

  just wondering, as i never have received one.

  i do not want to go back, just wondering if this is just another lie about their fake compassion and love.

  I was df'd in 1980 (not for apostacy) that is 26 years ago and have never had a visit from any elders.

  Only 2 times in that 26 years has a JW come to our door. We are on the do not call list so even the 2

  that came must have not read the territory card that says "do not call" The latest was the false religion

  tract that was left with my wife. I wished I had been there because I have a lot of questions for them.

  Scriptures the Org never quotes in talks or publications.

  i just read a post today that caught my attention, and gave me an idea.. name off some scriptures the society rarely or never quotes and the subject they pertain to.. job 1, 1-3 and job 3, 1-5, birthdays..

  Impulsive buyer....What was I thinking?~?

  yesterday, i was in wal-mart, taking care of some business at the service desk, while i was there, i thought......i'll just browse a bit and then get home.. before i knew it i was at the check-out with a hotdog griller...!!!!!!

  you know it looks kinda like the ones at gas stations, movie theatres, ball parks!!

  i barely eat 10 hot dogs a year and thats just when i don't have another choice.. i have never bought anything stupider that i can remember.. forty bucks spent........maybe five bucks back after i keep it five years.......selling it in a gargae sale.. tell us.....do you buy things impulsively and what was your biggest mistake?.

  for me i found myself more involved politically and in community and business affairs.

  not as cynical as i once was and not as judgemental as when i was a jw.

  also more empathetic about people and finally able to see some beauty in the world.

  How Many Clocks Did You Reset

  i had 15 to reset to daylight saving time last night.

  there was the cook stove, coffee maker, mivrowave, tvs, alarm clocks, electric clocks, wind up clocks, car clocks, wrist watch.

  the dvd player and computers did it automatically.

  How do you feel about "Ultimate fighting?"

  because i turned a lot of attention to martial arts, after leaving the witnesses, i got a lot of connections with people in the martial arts and fighting world.

  i have sense stopped training, after many years and black belts.

  what do you think of this fighting, do you like it?
