God is not genocidal
by mistified inso at the meeting a few weeks ago the speaker was having a talk about inactive people and then he went on about how people think the god of the old testament was cruel and genocidal.
he then said that god and did not commit genocide because everything he did was for a reason.
i was shocked at how stupid that saying was.

Tight Men's Pants Designed by 'Homosexuals' to Be Indecent, Warn Jehovah's Witnesses

Anthony Morris III, member of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 2005, said in a Saturday sermon that tight pants are designed by homosexuals to make young men indecent, and compared them to tight-fitting spandex on women — which he said God also condemns.
"What’s happened now is that it’s really caught on more — the tight suit jacket and the tight pants. Better known as tight pants. They are tight all the way down to the ankles. It’s not appropriate. It’s not sound of mind," he said,
"Like I've been telling others — and this is a fact — the homosexuals that are designing these clothes, they like you in tight pants! That's who likes it. Not spiritual people."
According to Raw Story, Morris gave a similar speech this past summer against what he calls the "metrosexual look."
"Do you remember that many, many, many homosexuals are in the clothing industry and doing the designing," he said in July. "Don’t you know they love it when you’re wearing tight pants? Oh yeah, you chuckle. I don’t think it’s funny. I think it’s disgusting."
According to research published in the April 2012 issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, those expressing negative attitudes toward homosexuals have a higher likelihood of being homosexuals themselves. Special The Truth About Social Security (AARP Expert Speaks) "Sometimes people are threatened by gays and lesbians because they are fearing their own impulses," study co-author Richard Ryan, a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, told LiveScience.com after publishing.
"It appears that sometimes those who would oppress others have been oppressed themselves, and we can have some compassion for them too, they may be unaccepting of others because they cannot be accepting of themselves."
Ryan cautioned that "hidden homosexuality" is not the only source of negative attitudes toward gays, and that environmental factors — such as how one's raised — can also contribute toward such attitudes. -

Yes, get a lawyer. Sometimes the "agreement" will require you stay in the same area. Many times, you have to get permission from the court (and your spouse) to move. Moving changes the visitation agreement and is set to harm the kids becuase you are taking them away from their own father. If it was "every other weekend", it might go to "every Summer with dad." So, to do this, you likely need a great excuse to move, job, health, etc. would be better.
Jobs are best in Texas, then in Florida, and then California. Look at Houston.

My Parents have gone FULL CULT MODE! Having a job is SATANIC!

around a year ago, my elder dad got laid off from his job.
he worked as a auto mechanic making ok money.

Yep, my family did it to me. Borrowed thousands, of which I didn't make them repay. When one finally went bust, I refused. Then, I was told that I was materialistic and worldly for not giving. Meanwhile, they didn't know/realize the thousands I gave in the past to other JW(ish) family members that I felt were truly in need. I told them, and then they tried to shut me down for other things, "You'd be nothing without your spouse . . . " And, that's when I cut them off from me.
My suggestion for you is to play poor. Talk of impending layoffs. Offer them only $100 to cover food & gas for the week, but you can't give anymore. You are going to have to live a double life.
It would be easier to give if they were truly in need (not able to work). But, those who are offered jobs and don't take them, or those with money that choose to spend unwisely, can't be helped

I haven't seen any carts. I've ran into a JW at the convention. It was in a sports complex where we play hockey and skate. We were in another part for skating, and they came into the recreation part to buy coffee. I struck up a conversation wtih them, and told them I was a JW, left, and the reasons why. They were happy, then speechless. Another JW & I struck up a conversation. He used to be a hockey goalie. But, hadn't done it since becoming a JW. I said JWs are in sports, look at the William's sisters. I played JW dumb, and encouraged him to try hockey on the rec league that meets on Sunday evenings, goalies play free becuase they are in demand.

What? A "helper" is like another person who is a secretary, butler, maid, etc. They are "Members" of the "Governing Body". Someone knew to make it look like Oz is still hiding behind his curtain. Becuase if the rank & file figure out that these guys are the bafoons running the show, Oz is going to fall.
