So, does this horrible incident have anything with the recent "hype" about being loving parents and that Watchtower article on abuse my sister tried to shove down my throat? I just e-mailed my sister a copy of this news article.
Between this news and the "My Molester is a JW Elder" video, the JWs need to " eyes and smell the , the WTS is in disguise."

according to the bible he decided to name her "woman".
in the previous verses he had been on an exercise to name all the beasts of the field and birds of the air.. personally, if i'd been wandering around a paradise garden on my own for years naming animals and suddenly set eyes on a perfect naked woman, i think i would be inclined to invent the first swear word.. although later, when eve gave birth, adam said it had been "with the lord's help".
so maybe he wasn't quite as spontaneous as i'd imagined, or maybe adam thought god was serious when he said she was a "helper".
Adam was perfect so he would have prayed and given his thanks to Jehovah!
But, he would have been singing, "Come on baby light my fire..."

I viewed the video just now. His story is detailed, detailed, detailed of who, what, where, when, and how. He's very credible. Wow.
If I had one wish, it would be that this video and the man who was molested was an incommon situation. But, his hurt and molestation has happened many times over. In my experiance, I "knew" of 2 molesters, each in a congregation I was involved in. If each Kingdom Hall harbored one molester.....how many molesters are there?
I give this man a big hug. Let's get his word out. It proves neither Jehovah God nor Jesis is with the Jehovah's Witness organization as they allow such horrendous harm against children.

Sometimes, yes. Not only were they answered, but it was amazing how things fell into place & the people who I met were just the people who helped me. One day, I'll have to write a book on how many times it did work. For example, I met my spouse and had one rugrat through a prayer. I went to school, passed tests, all with the power of a prayer.
Sometimes, no. But, I "hope" and "pray" that they do...or that #1 Upstairs has a reason for not granting my prayer. I still pray to win the lottery....but that hasn't happened yet.
Right now, I pray for Lawrence Hughes.

a very important statement was said here which i forgot to mention.
this lawsuit has set several precedents and could set other precedents.
I agree with your attorney. You have won some issues, and you have lost some issues. If you go further, you could win the issues, or lose them. It's a gamble. If won, you could bring down the WTS. But, it will be a long, hard battle. The WTS has millions and millions of dollars. More than any of us could muster.
However, I agree with you. You have to think of the children who are alive, not only your daughters but of all the others. It was scary for Columbus to prove the world was round, just as it's scary for you to take the WTS to court.
I had a thought, perhaps Christian icons like Pat Robinson or Charles Stanley could be approached? They "do not like" the WTS. But, on the other hand, they might not like the proposition of any case which advances that a religion could be sued.
