I want to thank all of you so much, it is truely overwhelming to have this much love and support. I have to shake my head in amazment that this is coming from total strangers. Those who know me have no clue what I'm feeling and when I try and express it I am ridiculed - so much for unconditional love! I have reasons for sticking around and they are important to me, my son and my dog. I do love my wife but she has the b'org and she feels that is the end all, be all. She may miss me if I left but I'm not sure. But with my son and my dog I do believe I can cope, at least for now.

Again thanks so much to all of you, you are a real blessing.

what i gathered was the fed's release banks from having to hold on to the current minimum cash requirements, which allows them to loan out more cash reserves.. from: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20218020/.

one of the broadest tools the fed can apply to the supply of money in the system is raising or lowering the amount of reserves that banks are required to hold in their accounts.

raising reserves means banks have to hold onto more money, which tends to tighten credit.

It is true we never learn. Too many Americans just sit back and expect some one else to fix everything and to do it befor ethe next commercial. Then they just bitch and moan when nothing ever changes.

we have seen many times over the years where jurys make their judgements based on emotions and not on the rule of law or the facts.

-the menendez brothers after killing their parents were found not guilty by the jury.

being asked why they decided the case that way the reason given was "those boys are so handsome and now they don't even have a mother.

I totally agree on the drug issue, however I would make one stipulation. If someone chose to use drugs and then becomes ill addectid or what ever then it is their problem to deal with not the rest of us. I don't want my tax dollars going to support someone because they mad the wrong choice.

On the judge or jury choice, the jury is useally the best way to go now since there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

i sometimes think it is viewed that way by many dubs.

i've seen many say it with pride, ive seen those dubs being held up as examples of how faithful they are.. your thoughts?.

Remember that the lawyers still would have to agree on which "pro" jurors they will have at their trials. I understand about the constitution and the jury of peers. However this would still be a jury of peers in that the jurors would still be private citizens. I know very few folks that like jury duty and it is a hassle for the court system to set them up. I also think there needs to be more disernment there.

Yet we could probably use more intelligence in all areas of government.

Please be assured we are trying to help, as most of us have been in your shoes in some form or another. The "unforgivable sin" would be to speak agingt the Holy Spirit (Matt. 12:31-32).

Look at it this way if you are truly concerned weather or not you have committed the unforgivable sin, then you have not done it. Ynot hit the nail on the head, build your relationship with Jehovah and Jesus, that is what is important. If you really believe the WT is the way to g then far be it for me to stop you from returning, all I ask is that you do it for the right reason, that you love God, not because you are afraid of the end. My friend you could die in a car accedent today (I hope that never happens) so whather "the end" is close or 100 years from now makes no difference.

Jehovah is said to be a loving God, and a loving God would want you to be happy, and to serve him out of love not out of fear of being distroyed.

Please think about what everyone says here, you don't have to believe it all but again remember we are trying to help. Take care

I was put in charge of the suond system as I have my own PA etc. After a few years the 2 congregations (a shared hall) wanted to upgrade to a newer wierless system. I have many contacts and was able to get an awesome quote for a great quality system. It was 5 Shure SM58 mics,(2 roving and three on the platform), 5 Nady transmitters and recievers. The dealer was going to give it to us for cost since this was for a church. Well it turns out that another brother had mentioned that he could get a better system for less. It turned out that this guy sold this stuff so he was padding his own pockets. They went with his and as you probably guessed they paid $450.00 more for a Telex system with 3 mics. I told them they made a mistake and was told that I should not second guess Jehovah's dirrection. Like God gives a rats butt what mics you use.

After the new mics were installed the first WT mtg was at the other congregation,where the brother who sold the mics attended. Well they were having problems and called me at home saying that I had to come and fix the problem. I told them it was easy, just send the crapy system back and get the one i arrainged for and the problem would be fixed. No that did not go over to well. Well I was told that it was my responsibility to fix this as I know sound systems. One elder even asked "What was I going to say to Jehovah when he asks me why I did not help the congregation?" I just said that I would ask him why he dirrected the congregation to buy a crappy system in the first place. Yes I went and got the system working, as our WT study was 3hrs.later, I just wated untill till then. Of course the system never sounded as good as even the older hard wired system but hey it was Jehoveh's choice.

Help Requested PO and his wife coming over tomorrow for 'study'

my wife had a bible study with the sister and her daughter actually yesterday evening (i am guessing that the daughter needed some time), i was in the living room at the time, and i will post the notes from this conversation later this evening (at work now, don't have them here).

my wife had wanted to learn how to read the bible from them, but they of course manipulated her to a book study within two weeks!.

at the end of this bible study (they started the bible teach book, got to paragraph 13 in chapter one) the sister asked my wife if i still wanted to talk to her husband on wednesday, i said i would be very interested, but i want my wife and i to both be involved in the discussions (want to have her hear what we are talking about, firstly if i can ask an interesting question, and secondly i want her to see i am not a raging apostate to the gentleman - and he is a pretty nice guy).. .

As has been said be polite but you can still be firm. They came to you to answer your questions and to prove to you that they are Gods chosen religion. The burden is on them to prove to you what they say, it is not in you to believe everthing they say. Also you and your wife can and should insist on using the Bible only. Just politly tell them that if they go through the Bible Teach, or any other book, then they are studing that book not the Bible, and you want to study the Bible.

Keep them on Michael, don't let them change the subject. It will be difficult as that is all they know how to do. They make a point and move on, they don't want you to think about it, just accept it - after all they are there to teach you. That is their mind set.

I am truly amazed at what so many people can think up and then create. The human mind is just incredible. And I am excited to see what the future holds!
