so, ....... a child who has been repeatedly raped, or molested since they can remember.......has until age 20 to report it?

and they same goes for someone who is over 18........ if they are raped by an elder, they have 2 yrs to file a law suit? ............. how come catolic priests are being arrested for crimes they commited long ago? .......are their victims, who are suing them, all under 20 yrs of age........ or withing 2 years of the last raping?

i feel sorry for jws.......... their gov body cares nothing about them at all.......... everyone knows how dangerous it is for people to go door to door......... can you imagine 2 attractive sisters going door to door, in these times?....... they could get raped and killed! (and they do) .......... yet, the gov body sends them forth.......

the gov body deems them spiritually dead, if they don't go door to door,....... yet, if they are assaulted or sued,,,,,,, the gov body tells them to handle it on their own... ........in fact, if they are raped, they will likely be disfellowshipped.

Witnesses Are Great Folks

i know i'll get a lot of flack from this,but witnesses are good folks.and your average witness is concerned about you,non-witness.i've been there and i almost became one.my ex did become one.

it's not what they are taught by the watchtower,it's how one is taught.if one was what a witness was taught there wouldn't be any witnesses.it's how one is taught.most of the witnesses always told me,if you have any questions there's a book by the society that will answer your question.

(s)the watchtower is persistent.well so was i.the more books i read that the watchtower wrote,the more questions i had.and i,always,made sure i stayed on the topic.they never did.they always avoided my questions.and they are real good at that.

one thing about jws stands out in my mind,..... that sets them apart a little,,,,,,,,,,.........whatever the gov body tells them to do........they have been "programmed" to carry it out...........

jesus commanded his followers to preach in the most distant parts of the earth and promised them that the spirit of god would guide them in this life-saving work (acts 1:8).. without the spirit of god, one cannot continue preaching about jesus and god's kingdom (matthew 24:14).

one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.

nonoprobe, ........ i think this site gets visited alot by curious jws and others........it is a good place to put up true stories........... i hope to read yours on some of these boards soon...... it's not the loving clean organization that many think it is.

i lived in mound city kansas for a while,,,,,,,,,,, among various other places,,,,,,,,i know how bad the decisions of the elders in those back rooms can be.......... especially in farming country, where elders have less contact with the outside world....... many here don't believe how horrible the things are, that go on in those elders rooms and the consequences the victims suffer, imediatly after the meeting.

would you consider posting a few experiences,.......... one at a time,,,,,,,, on the other boards here?..... the scandal board is a good one,,,,,,,, or the personal experiences board is good,,,,, or the child abuse board.......this board moves really fast,,,,, and you words will soon be lost here.

those were horrible experiences,,,,,,, especially the one about the father cutting of the pet lambs legs in front of the girl that ran away......... someone i know had a similar experience....... her father was molesting her, and she went to the elders about it....... she was promptly handed back over to the father, and he beat her pet dog to death in front of her, to teach her a lesson.

are you saying alot of sexual abuse cases don't "qualify" for some reason?......... can you explain more clearly what the limitations are?......... please put it in laymans terms.

i really think you should be out in service right now!!!!!!!........ you know, ......with some jw children that are being molested by an elder, but don't have "2 witnesses"......... maybe a so called "wordly person"...will listen to them, and help them!......... ya,... they could direct them to the "silent lambs" organization, where they could get support and legal aid........ wouldn't that be nice?........ now hurry up!!!!!
