Fantastic music site I just discovered! FANTASTIC!
by nicolaou injust type in a song that is typical of your tastes and the site will create a 'station' that continually plays music you should like.
fantastic to have in the background if you are surfing, even better if your pc is the heart of your music system.. it does not play requests, that isn't what it's about, although your original selection will end up in the playlist.
by the way, did i say i think this is fantastic!.

AirDuster...
You asked a question and 54 people have responded.
It would be polite for you to acknowledge their efforts.
I realise that this is your very first post and that you may be young. But it is polite to respond.
Else no-one will take any interest in you in future.
They may even think that you are just pretending to be someone you aren't.
So just pop back and say a quick "HI..I'm thinking about it".

by unique1 ini apologize if someone has already posted this.
my mom just sent me this email showing how the illustrations from daniel's time show the rock getting closer.
now, this would mean something if it just showed up that way, you know god's finger on the wall type thing.

Anyone else remember the book "Famine 1975" published in the '60s?
We would all starve because genetic crops would all succumb to a disease at the same time. I am sure that Mary has heaps on it. The WTS pushed it for all of it's worth.
So now it's water. (Yawn.)

Hi AirDuster..
I hope that you are reading all of this...A lot of people have spent a lot of time giving genuine responses. Just let us know that you are still here.
My addition would be: Be prepared to lose every friend that you have made in your life. Relatives, close and far, included.
All of your new friends will be at your Kingdom Hall. They will call you "Brother" and will be like family for the first few months.
If/when you change your mind about being a member of the Watch Tower Society of New York, you will have no friends at your Kingdom Hall. They will spurn you in public. And it will be a very hard job getting your old friends back.
You would be very lonely.

This Year The Push Is REALLY On To Invite EVERYONE To The Memorial!

Now you've kept me awake Kitty...and it's 3 am here...I'll finish the story.
This lost tribe that had found the Watch Tower magazine that had been carelessly tossed out of the aeroplane after it had been read (and underlined) by the pilot and who had worshipped that magazine ever since, finally came across a Nissan 14 with a broken axle.
Since it could not be driven, they pushed it 2,000 miles to Sydney where they all attended the Memorial Service. After that, they pushed the Nissan 14 back another 2,000 miles into the desert.

Kitty....As soon as I pressed the Send button I regretted referring to gear boxes. uncle bruce and Doctor Jekyll had such a long chat last night about nut sacks. I don't want them to join in.
Actually it was a broke rear axle.

This is a true story...
In outback Australia, on a long boring flight, a pilot of a light plane threw a copy of the Watch Tower out of the window after he had finished reading it.
It just happened to land near a tribe of nomadic aborigines who found it. They did not know what it was but knew that it was something very holy. It became an object of worship.
Soon after, in their wanderings, they came across an abandoned Nissan 14.........All it needed was a new gear box....
Bloody hell.....look at the time.......I'm off to bed....Maybe someone else can finish this true story.

RABBIT PROOF FENCE --- TRUE STORY/ AUSSIE FILM
by LDH in.
i rented this last night and really loved it.. have any of you blokes and sheilas seen it, then, and what did you think?

Hi LDH.....No..Picaninni is really a very cute word....I have never heard it used in an offensive way ever. The source you quoted is totally incorrect.
The word Gin - referring to a female aborigine - is offensive. It never was originally but became so when it began being used derogatorial sense. ("She was as hopeless as a gin at a christening").
unclebruce will surely correct me here (as he should, because my spelling will be wrong) but our aborigines prefer to addressed as Murries or Koories. Depending on whether they were coastal or inland tribes.
Blackfellas and whitefellas are not derogatory words and can be used in conversation. Around here anyway.
Certainly many native women were raped by colonial settlers as has been the case world-wide since forever.
The Australian aborigine had (and still has) a culture 40,000 years old. And, as with any people that were invaded, were very badly treated. They resisted this intrusion and did try to keep their blood line pure.
PM me your email address and I'll forward a pic of my closest cousin......Wombat
