I've been meaning to post some jokes,but I always want to read the whole thread first to make sure I don't repeat one,and I can't seem to get it all read.Which reminds me of this one;

An inmate is settling down for his first night in prison.Shortly after the lights go out,someone yells out "23" and everyone laughs heartily.Then someone else calls out "52" and again,everyone laughs.
As this goes on,the new guy asks his cellmate"hey,what's all this about?",the cellmate replys"Well,we just kept telling the same jokes over and over,so we finally just gave them numbers".The new guy decided this was neat and he wanted to join in,so the next time it got quiet he shouted "17",but nothing happened,not even a chuckle.Unsure what his wrong,he asked his cellmate why no one laughed.He replyed "Well,some people just can't tell a joke."

McVeigh vs Death Penalty

i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.

i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.

and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

Timothy McVegh-A martyr?Sadly,to some misguided souls,he is.There is no if or maybe about it.I know this for a fact.Whether you want to believe me or not,it is true.
A coward?Maybe not in the gulf war,maybe not in the death chamber,but when he lit that fuse and turned his back on that building full of innocent people,he was the biggest coward of all time.

Crossroads-visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial,and then tell me those people deserved to die for his cause.I'm not saying that victims of military operations deserve to die either,but two wrongs don't make a right.Waco and Ruby Ridge were another matter entirely,those people could have surrendered peacefully and walked away unharmed.McVeigh didn't give the people in the Murrah building that chance.

Great place, cheap therapy for ex JW's

i love this site... just think, more ex/inactive witnesses exist than.

active time counting witnesses in our world today.. this is a great forum for the majority of us.. maybe we should storm brooklyn and take .

over and invite everyone over and have a party.. i am daydreaming agian?.

Budda Belly-You worked at the dairy?That reminds me of a story.

Our family has always been in the purebred beef cattle business(always being all of my life anyway).Back in the early to mid seventies A.I.(artificial insemenation) was just becoming widely used.My father and brother were about to start using A.I. when my mother decided that it sounded wrong and asked the elders.They didn't think it sounded like something we should be doing either.Supposedly,a letter was written to the society about it,and the reply was that they shouldn't do it.So they didn't.
Less than a year later my brother went with a group to tour Bethel.While at the farm,my brother inquired as to the whereabouts of the bulls.He was told they didn't keep bulls around-all of the cows were A.I.'ed.

Amazing,I do hope you're right,but like Expatbrit I figure it will be a long time before we can say that for sure.

In my hometown we have militia members who are swearing that "Gods wrath will soon be upon us for the execution of an innocent man".The man who said this is the leader of the militia in this county.In fact,he said this to me."What Ryder truck?"he said"I watched the whole thing on TV for eight hours after it happened and there was no Ryder truck in front of that building,that's a lie the government made up to blame an innocent man".

Now any idiot knows that a bomb that big wouldn't leave anything much of the truck it was in,so how can you argue with that kind of logic?

Amazing I usually agree with you,and I sure hope you're right this time,but it's gonna take a while before I believe it.

Enjoy life..

i was in my speech class today and we were told to do acting exercises.

i noticed some people in the class were just having so much fun, but i really just couldn't get into a character.

i suddenly realized that they must enjoy life more than i do.

Introspection-Sometimes I feel that way,too.In fact,it often seems to me that I simply don't feel as much as others.It worries me a little bit that I don't even get as sad or as mad as I believe I should sometimes.Maybe I'm afraid to-my mother is bi-polar,and I suppose I fear that.
But I think I enjoy life and hopefully you do too.There is a difference,I think ,in what we feel and what we show others...
Oh well,just my thoughts.By the way,I enjoy your posts,you come up with some interesting things.
