sorry it's taken a few days to get this up, been hella busy at work and still recovering from last weekend .
so, here's a quick rundown of my weekends events along with a couple pics.
i will apologize in advance for not having pics of myself, i will post them when i get some.. friday night i got all dolled up and took myself to a metal show.

Yeah, the other places dried up and I was ready to meet new people again. Once I found the freak crew here there was no gouing back

i tracked down the guy who started some work on my back and i'm going to finish part of it this weekend.
the tat started as a take on ying and yang and the idea that things come full circle.

now that i'm in my late 40's, old means about 80 years old.... i'm still young at 47, i think .
Old to me is 90 plus.
80 is gettin' up there...
65 and under is young to me.
We don't live long enough...time goes by too fast....
I cherish these young years, and the children, for you never get those years again.
I'm on a similar page E. I've always stood by the saying "you're only as old as you act/feel". When I was a kid 18 seemed old until I got there. Same with 20, 30 etc. I've noticed over the years that my definition of "my age" and "old" has changed dramatically. Now I consider amongst my peers almost anyone between 20 & 60+ I also know several people in their 70's and 80's that I would not describe as "old"

Thanks Mary, makes more sense now. I have seen Rocky Horror several times, but this will be my first live attendance with audience participation. That's right, I get to be a virgin for the night! I have heard stories from people that have attended and am way stoked to have the chance. My friend is going as Magenta, so it should be fun. I'll let you all know how it goes

I really am not much of a scary movie fan, I don't thrive on traumatizing myself I do however like suspense here and there. My first introduction was "When a Stranger Calls" and the sequel, both were great suspense.
As for movies that scared the hell out of me and left me loving it? "The Ring" and "The Ring 2". You haven't lived until you've seen a big beardy man quivering in fear on the porch after a movie
you know the one that made you think of fingernails on blackboards.

My paternal unit was a huge fan and had several cassette tapes he had recorded from LP. I can't tell you how many "family vacations" were spent with this musical equivalent of water torture. Of course, the addition of Gordon Lightfoot, George Straight and Forrester Sisters led to a mind numbing desire to chew one's way out of a moving vehicle
