I believe the author is deceased and I am told he had no heirs. For those reasons I doubt it will be republished. It's a work that deserves to be readily available online.

Is Jesus Mediator for the Great Crowd's prayers?
by jwfacts inthe watchtower makes the claim that jesus is only mediator for the 144,000 because only they are in the new covenant.
however i was looking on wikipedia.org and there is a statement that the watchtower does teach that jesus is mediator for the prayers of the great crowd.
does anyone know if this is correct?

jwfacts,
I don't think the wikipedia article (at least on the main page) says that Jesus is mediator for any other group than the anointed. It's been a point of contention there and I've actually worked on the collaborative edit on that point. It's a point that some JWs want to minimize. AFAIK, the WT is pretty clear that "mediator" has a restricted sense to the "new covenant" and applies to the 144,000 only. However, JWs do believe that Jesus is the means of approach in prayer for all (pray through him but not too him). I'm not defending these beliefs...this is how I understand the WT's position.

by KW13 inright here is a report generated on the differences between 2003 cd and 2005 cd from my computer.
i haven't yet looked to see if the changes are visible changes of text or just innocent changes that somehow couldn't be helped.
either way a lot of files that are meant to be the same do look different.. check this report... .

I just checked and it seems to be in the 2005 CD ROM. And I checked it against the hard copy of the text. Am I missing something?

Just how hyped was 1975?
by MuadDib inaight.
i was raised in the jws, but i'm still young (22) and all my life what i've been told is that the society never really promoted 1975 as the definitive year for the coming of armageddon.
what i was always told is that some overzealous witnesses took certain things out of context and developed a very extreme reaction - ie selling their houses, quitting their jobs, dropping out of school, etc.

Read for yourself this article from the October 8, 1966 Awake!, entitled "How Much Longer Will It Be?" This sort of stuff really fanned the flames.

I've tried to collect all the links of older publications I've found online into this page:
Historical Publications Relating to Jehovah's Witnesses
The Time is at Hand has a few editions listed.
If you know of any other titles that could be added, please PM me. Thanks!
