Does Jehovah Witnesses have the worst teachings?.

the dubs condem all other denominations professing faith in christ as apostates.

they teach that christendom will suffer destruction as a part of babylon the great by the hands of god.. however, here is the thing.

my recent findings suggest jehovah witness falsely interpret and bend scriptures out of context more than any other religion i have come in to contact with.

In the movie Malcolm X, Malcolm needed Islam(or the sect of it that he found) at the moment that he found it. Later he found out that his loyalties were misplaced in the "Honorable Elijah Mohammad". After his faith was shattered, he moved on. But it had "saved" him when he was in jail.

I've thought that at times people find being a JW is what they needed at the time irregardless of whether it really being the "truth". I really don't think that way anymore. I don't see any good at all of someone naively following this cult.

Anyone watching "Two and a Half Men"??

hehehe, this must be a common thing on tv lately, i've been seeing a lot of people mentioning this here on the board.. i'm watching "two and a half men" right now, and in the pre-credits intro part, two of the main characters were talking, and one of them was bragging about the great sex he'd had the night before, and there was a knock on the door.. "hello brother, we're here to tell you about the good news!!".

the character invites them in to tell them about his nocturnal adventures.. i don't know if they were supposed to be mormons or jehovah's witnesses, but they certainly reminded me of jws with their white shirts and ties with the books in hand, and i loved how they looked absolutely mortified with the other character started bragging about sex.. is it just me or are mormons/jws turning up at the butt of jokes a lot on tv lately??.

It is rather funny that not a single thing on tv about them is ever how the WTBTS wants to be portrayed. Charlie doesn't look out the window and say, "Look at those respectably dressed people with those well-behaved children spreading the good news about god's kingdom. I should really listen to what they have to say."

I think the ones that leave still somewhat believe it and are afraid to do any research or read any "apostate" books. When I left I was like that for a while but just couldn't do it anymore.
