  ......ok....read your post, however hard it was with no paragraphs. some jw's actually think the same way you do. which is alright,since supposedly we were given freedom of choice,but i don't think you will convince any here the jw's actually have & teach the "truth".....just my own opinion.....

  I'm mad as hell (New Here)

  i'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.

  i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.

  i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.

  Gluttony and Drunkenness

  i knew several that got df'd for drunkenness but never anyone for gluttony.

  as far as i can remember, in the bible there weren't categories or various levels of sin; and both these are mentioned as sinful.

  last i looked, there were an awful lot of very obese witnesses in the congs.

  ...............perhaps there is no judicial action against obese,over eaters due to as many elders being obese, overweight as regular rank & file ..

  imagine there wouldn't be a whole lot of jdubs left if they punished overeaters..............unhappiness promotes overeating in most

  JW Kingdom Hall Target of Arson Fire

  boise - fire crews are investigating an arson fire that destroyed a boise church overnight.

  that fire happened at the jehovahs witness church just off of roosevelt and st. andrews just after 2 a.m. .

  when crews arrived on scene, they found the building engulfed in flames, and say someone set the fire intentionally.

  i just spent 5 days in Good Samaritan Hospital in your fair city of Chicago with double pneaumonia. very good hospital....i'm back in Texas for recovery.
