  Sabastious appreciate your and all comments. But this show me how people

  pick and choose( not talking about you) from the scriptures. I gave A talk years ago

  on family life. One thing I remerber from the outline, the wife would care for the young son

  until he reach the age of 8 of 9yrs. old. THen the father would take over , working

  with the father in the fields. In those days A young man was consider a adult at 16.

  So today, young men In high school are not consider as young kids. You see what

  I am saying. Jw,s and other religious org. have no problem with young men taught

  by women. And then those Jw,s that go to trade schools they are adults.

  You made A good point, today they apply that scripture too the ministry only.

  A thought, when the Bible states women should not teach, I am sure they did

  not have schools for learning (reading and math). So would those words apply to our colleges,and universites

  today. No, it does not make sense. A different world. Today we entrust the women in

  our learning insitution to prepare our young ones. Now you have A professional teacher

  who have taught for years, and A brother who just made it out of High school teaching

  the Congregation. Go figure.

  One must forget the misguided teaching of the Watch Tower before one can

  honestly address what is wrong with women teaching..I was one who believe

  women should not teach. My view today, A 180 degree. Today Since I have been A

  member of this web site, who are some of the most knowledgeable people here,

  women, and when I was A JW, I realize the women would understand the

  teaching of the WT a lot faster then the men. When I ask A question on

  this site, the women answer 50% of the time and they are right on.(correct answer).

  We have women as Generals in the military and we still hold on to the view, women

  should not preach. To bad the JW,s miss out on knowledgeable sisters and thier input,

  or maybe they would be in A worst mess, just kidding.

  A few months ago Two JW women caught me unexpectedly, so they talk about the

  usual JW none sense. The nite before I was reading and researching the Nephilim.

  More proof to disclaim the flood. After they finish thier presentation I ask them

  to read Gen.6:4 and explain, well the older sister perk up, you could tell she was

  the pioneer, the one teaching the less experince one. Sir, the Nephilim the offspring

  of falling angels and etc. So after she finish I ask her what happen to the Nephilims.

  They were kill doing the flood. So I ask her to turn to Numbers13:33...

  Her apprentice comment, that can,t be right.The older sister, Sir may I come back

  and give you the answer. Two weeks later they came back, and for the life of

  me I can,t remerber what is the JW veiw on those two scriptures. The poor sister

  was so happy to have A return visit she ask me can she return with her CO.

  Never happen, they found out I was A apotate.

  the dilemma; there is 70 or more family members.

  my son and i are agonstic.. so the rest of my family are baptist , methodist or jw.

  dead, but the question that come up what kind of send off will i have.. i have one relative who is baptist minister, he and i have had many talks in.

  Thanks again for all the great ideas. I have considered in my Obituaries, The

  funeral will be A Agonstic funeral..Thinking about it I guess that is A little

  over the top, but you might get A few more people , curious too see how

  A non-Christian funeral is conducted.

  i want to collect a bunch of things that i can use to help my son see that the wbts and being a jw makes no sense.. i have a few in mind already.

  they have to be things that might matter to a teenager, so doctrine will probably be out!.
