In the late 60,s when I came in ,there was some wild gathering..My wife and I were invited out a lot..One thing I notice , in most cases the gathering were all couples in their 30,s or 40,s no single friends and all very beautiful people, I mean nice looking couples..The booze oh my god...All these brothers where elders, we where new..The good old days...

i moved to a new congregation and wanted to slowly each weekend invite all the brothers over to get to know them.
the drill was we had a barbie with red wine and music.

i got a "G" on my #4 tonite!
by bonnzo ini had the #4 talk tonite on 2nd peter-why beneficial.
i talked about you mean ol' postates.
i used 2pet 2:1-3 and even said the internet was a tool of satan to snare christians today.

bonnzo I commend you for what you are doing.Personnally I become physical sick when entering a KH..I feel I could do more damaging on the inside..I know for a fact many are unhappy ......We need a organize group working from the inside..For those that are still in think about the ones you can help, on down low... alot of the information we receive are from ones on the inside, elders, bethel friends,and others..If I could overcome my nauseated feeling at the KH, I have thought about going back to help my family members...do we have such a group working from the inside?

Did you ever really have true blue friends being a Witness?
by Cheetos inlooking back i don't think i really ever had any good friends being witness, cause if i would have some out of all those people and so called friends i thought i had, you would think one of them would have looked me up over the years.

you can have many jw friends if you have something to offer..WE , my wife and I and kids (4) served where the need was great...The two places we served was ideal for a cheap vacation, fishing, camping,and a place to stay, our home..I thought these are friends we will have for life.. Over 11yrs. we served where the need was great.So the brothers and sisters from our old cong.would plan their vaction to stay with us. A neighbor once remark to me , are you running a motel..Friends would come and stay a week at a time. One bro. and wife came with thier four kids, drink all my beer and almost fish all the fish out of my pond...Over the years we had over 100 friends stay with us..Where are they now..I have since move back too the city of my old cong. That was the year of 1987 and over the years I have seen these people and not one has ever came up to me and ask how are you doing...Many came and never offer money for food....

walking away, so happy for you....Just the other day my son said dad , when he and I walk away from the borg..over 20yrs ago, we had know idea where it would lead..I am happy to say it was the best move we made..His son my grandson is enjoying and living a normal childhood...We are all enjoying life a lot more...And may I say, when at times you feel low,(the shunning and ets) continue to check out others on this site and what they are going thru.It help me a lot knowing that you are not alone...

thankful on a day to give thanks not interrupting people to tell them what you are giving thanks for is wrong. Thankful for discovering golf, horse racing , Indian casnio, and a loving wife.

Brothers who were Gay but couldn't admit/accept it! Did you have some?
by Witness 007 ini have come to realize that being gay is something you are just born with....so why judge them if it's like being born a certain race.. a brother g_____ i knew was a zealous pioneer pushing 43 years old.
he never married though the sisters thought he was dreamy and he had plenty of offers....."she's not for me" he would always, many times tell me some excuse.
he loved to give only brothers a big hug...say if you gave a public talk or something.

I knew a few gay,s..My nephew was questionable..One thing I have come to be since I left the borg. Is not to be so judgmental..As a straight male , and if there is a God, Gay,s are born gay God made them that way..You do not become gay because you had a dominating mother,or if you was abused as a child...Why would anyone want to be gay with all the hatefulness against them...I love women, they are god ,s gift too men.. I feel gay men feel they same way, God put this in thier hearts, you can not go against your natural feeling..This is strange coming from me if you knew me when I was dud...I dislike gays, but someone ask me a question, what if one on your sons was gay, how would you deal with it. I would love him the same unconditional. When Christian groups use the term unnatural, what does that mean..How can it be unnatural for that person when it is his natural feeling.

Deceptive or just wrong?
by johnnyc ini have been virtually non-stop studying everything i can get my hands on with regards the wtbts, and "apostate" literature and information.
in all honesty, 80% at least is non-sense and over critical.
however, i do find about 20% (if i have to create a percentage reference) is appropriate in its line of reasoning and questioning.

one of many problems I have with wt. From the begaining the cult was out in left field...Two scriptures come to mind, Matt16;18 solid foundation of the church and Matt7;17-19 good fruit can not bringe forth evil fruit..When you ask a witness about thier history they will tell you that was in the pass, we have made many changes over the years, and yet they will look down other christian groups....Tell me how can you be the one and only org. on earth that speak for God...when you have been so wrong so many times..

II never knew that the wt. received monies from a cigarette company, thier stock...How can a org. disfellowship people for the same thing they themself is doing. Lying ( blood,dates,Jw history) the UN,knowledge of the greek and hebrew scriptures, everything about this religion is a lie..There should be a law , if you are guility of the same offense of people of whom you have ruin they life , you need too pay...
