  this is mostly directed to all of you from the uk.

  i listen to a lot of music from the uk, but there's some, i guess slang that i don't completely understand.. raw ramp: as in "you're a raw ramp".

  i have no clue what this means.

  Codswallop, tripe, piffle, crap, bollocks as in f****** bollocks = Your talking daft, though of course the first three are more polite ways of saying so.

  Balmpot = Village idiot, also used as sense of endearment, from the county of Derbyshire.

  Boy = Mate

  Cut her adrift = Get rid of the slag

  Slag = Female who sleeps around

  Bent as a ten bob note = Poofter

  Howler = good joke or someone lying

  who knows what will come in the years ahead from terrorism, global warming, conflict over natural resources, proliferation of wmd, et al.?

  it's not hard to imagine truly horrific things happening.

  i don't think it's likely, but perhaps one day the major powers might even respond to religion-related terrorism by joining together to restrain or control religion under the banner of the u.n.. such events certainly could trigger a response from the fears/phobias that ex-jws may carry around with them due to years of wt indoctrination -- however much repressed these are at most times.

Because I'm seriously worried this culture in Britain has only 15-20 years maximum before all hell breaks loose and the country literally dies on it's feet.

  but all countries have their darker side.

  here in the uk a worrying development is the keeping of suspects without trial, without prospect of release in belmarsh prison.

  you know how some of us guys have to put on a bit of an act sometimes, we have to set our faces into our coping scowl, but underneath, we're too well aware of just how soft we are?

  well.. what music to the big guys here only, not you wimpy bunch, brings a tear to your eye or which films is it that you need to keep a box of tissues handy by you to wipe away the dampness in your eye?.
