MLE, I agree there are probably a few active and pro-JWs who have at some point or another posted here...the heavy-handedness comes not from that persay...but the attitude put forth as well as behavior...such as hijacking others threads and diverting the topics, stating untrue scenarios (like a certain poster used to claim she was an active pioneer and told her elders and other members she posts here and they were fine with it)...and simply by trying to water down real life experiences here by exJWs to make them look like the bad guy.

Has there, or are there any normal pro-WT members on this forum? As in mentally stable, anybody?
by miseryloveselders infirst off, forgive me if i'm guilty of being judgemental.
i got my own fair share of mental problems.
it goes without saying that a bunch of us on this forum are misfits and freaks.

Wobble, hypocritically the WT uses sources to establish 539BCE, then discredits the 587 that those same sources advocate. They never prove their points, only try to discredit all secular sources and then claim they have it right.

I am not bemonaning my lack of expertise for no one can be an expert on everything, Jonsson and Hunger only have a limited expertise in some matters. Furuli acknowleges his deficiencies in certain areas so a liitle humility brings you to reality. My expertise lies in the Bible and when I amm confronted with a subject such as ancient scrular chronology then I accepth the Bible over an dabove the theiries of men now that is my reality. The Bible alone is the source of truth because it is God's Word therefore I amm not plaqued by bias.
My reply: You have expertise in the Bible? No, you don't. Your expertise lies in your memrizing WT rhetoric. You are certainly not an expert at defending WT chronology- as it is indefensible lies. You then give your fallacious argument that you ttrust the Bible over man- equating the WT's date of 607 to being Biblical, when it is not. The only bias is by WT adherents in clinging to straws to uphold their 7 gentile times teaching.

Wobble- you mean 537, right? 539 is established. 537 is not an established date that the Jews returned to Jerusalem...and 538 is more likely.

Why do the JWs have secret law codes when the "world's" laws are public?
by easyreader1970 ini've glanced over the new book.
i won't comment on the rules and regulations themselves because they read as though they were drafted by lab reject monkeys.. my issue is: why the secrecy?
if these are laws and rules that all jws must abide by to remain in good standing, why can't they have access to them?

Exactly thetrueone,
This simply becomes an academic issue and nothing more..because even IF Jerusalem was destroyed in 607BCE it would mean nothing else. The 7 Gentile Times bs is nothing short of ridiculous.

Luke 24 says differently Ren/Bator.
Hell/hades is not the final destination..Gehenna is.
