How about this one...."Jehovah never leaves us, it's us who pull away from Him"......gag me with a spoon.....or, "who do you think they're going to believe, I'm at the meetings, and you're not!"

just came home from grandmas house and found him next to the road.
i guess he had made a jail break (he jumped my fence everyday) and got hit.
of course, noone left even a note, what do they care, its only someones dog.
Melba, I am sorry for your loss....some people think that a dog is JUST a dog...they don't realize that they are a part of the family....I don't understand how they can hit an animal then leave it to die....it's just not humane.

ah, the good old days !!!
now that i'm old and gray, i can't believe the change in prices for this good stuff!
whole cheese pizza ............ 75 cents !!.
I remember in 1978, I was 16, and was desparate to have a pair of Levi's...mom said if I paid for half, she'd pay the other half....they cost around $16.00 then, i saved the $8.00 that I needed from babysitting, we went to the store, purchased the jeans, I took them out to the car and promptly took my old jeans off and put on the new Levi's.....Ahhhhhh, now that was living....

do you know how to cook, even just a few simple recipes, or do you hate the idea of home cooking and prefer to always rely on restaurants and take aways, or just prepare easy snacks like sandwiches and melted cheese on toast?
And on that note, my husband and I enjoy cooking together in the kitchen with a glass of wine, talking about everything and anything....it promotes a healthy marriage....

We prefer to eat at home, as it is too expensive to feed a family of 6 at a restaurant here in Ontario Canada...We both love to cook, my husband loves to bbq, and we refer to him as the bbq King...ribs and steaks are his specialties, and I love to cook pasta, particularly lasagna....Jenniebeanz, you must have my recipe, or I have yours....it's pretty much the same, and it doesn't serve that many people...everyone has seconds here too...lol.. There is nothing better than picking up fresh ingredients, and making a gourmet meal at home......for a fraction of the cost of eating out....and , I kinda like my own cooking....

.
they might be able to kick me in the nuts, but they can't knock me out.
btw, 'catchthis' is a poser.
Was wondering how your wife handled it all as well....and also, how did they find out who you were???
delilah
what type of person are you?
are you outgoing, charming, sweet, thoughtful, humorous?
all right.
I am a happy-go-lucky person, who likes to please....almost to a fault...I am sensitive of others, and if I even THINK that I may have hurt someone, I rectify it immediately. I am kind and generous, sweet but vampy.. .when I am cornered, I come out swinging....lol....and will always come to the aid of a child in need.... am always a friend when needed.....but I like to have my own space sometimes...

I was like you Sunspot...the first couple of years I'd hide the wrapping paper and bows under everything else in my cart, now I don't even think about it....although at easter I had my cart loaded with goodies and if there wasn't a witness family right beside me in the next teller.....I laughed my head off on the way out...who cares at this point??? But I only send cards to my family who were never JW's, and my brother, who is out...my parents know we celebrate, and they simply don't come 'round at holiday times...sad isn't it??? And I remember as a child when we did celebrate everything.....pre-JW days. I always missed the holidays and so it was a great relief to be able to enjoy them once again, and give my kids the fun they had missed out on in their early years.
