  looks like the forum went down (right after i went to bed, doh!)..

  i really should get some monitoring setup but it's been pretty rock solid for ages so i've never bothered.. must be something todo with all the tinkering i've been doing and the background job i started running yesterday.. anyway, sorry for anyone who's been trying to access the site..

  a normal person, upon hearing that a new (or revised) bible translation has been released, would have 2 questions spring to mind almost immediately:.

  1) who did the work, and what are their credentials?.

  2) what manuscripts is the work based on?.

  1953: NWT Edition: “Her get for me, because she is the one just right in my eyes.”

  1984 Edition: "Get just her for me, because she is the one just right in my eyes."

  2013 Edition: “Get her for me, because she is the right one for me.”

  2013 Besty Revised Edition: "Get her for me, for her brazen ass is one of hotness."

  ok here is another spin on the wt verses the internet argument, and this time i'm going to be pro-wt.

  i have read articles and seen graphs that show in countries that have high internet penetration, growth rates diminish.

  this is used to support the idea that the information age is killing the wt.

  Great Britain does well wtih a const'l monarchy.

  Great Britain is usually a geographical term and refers to the big island comprising England, Wales & Scotland.

  The United Kingdom is the correct political term to use as it includes other islands eg Northern Ireland.

  based on my personal experience adding 'jw.org' to online posts (especially youtube videos) seems to have a good effect with regards to spreading ttatt to not so tech savvy jws.

  i was at an elder's house last week when he stumbled on to 'jehovah's witnesses new light on f&ds.

  got caught at the supermarket (in between the martini olives and snack crackers ) with several bottles of hard liquor in my basket along with some red licorice by a sister that has known me for years.

  still respects me, not knowing that i am in full fade mode, or at least not recognizably knowing.

  anyway, when she sees me, her eyes get all big and she heads in my direction, nearly ramming my liquor laden cart with her vegan oriented basket.. "hey sop, how are you doing?
