by factfinder ini just recieved a copy of the new book "imitate their faith" and notice it was printed in the german branch, not at wallkill.. why would they ship books here (the us) from germany instead of printing them in wallkill?.
the new tracts were printed in canada.. is something going on at the wallkill printery that would would hinder book production there?.

might help you.
"Do what you have been told to do" to your local elders is the best way to leave with dignity and head held high in your circumstances. I wouldn;t DA or attend a JC. Their rules.
PS - My brother made a 1000 mile round trip to give evidence against me to local elders and couldn't go the extra half mile to our home to see his only 2 nephews, one of whom was merely weeks old. Despicable cult.

@Vanderhoven7
Maybe, in truth, the religious are the most intelligent of all. Not because they refuse to accept the facts, but because they do. Two in particular. First, that there is a God.
The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience .
Can you verify that god exists?

Anyone else got a weird PM from Member: jstelmach ??
by The Quiet One into paraphrase, it's basically suggesting that i stop replying to threads with people who i think are talking with 'insanity' in them, and to leave them alone... i've got no idea what he/she is referring to, and they haven't posted at all.

My 0.02:
The Governing Body wants to link us ex-Jehovahs Witness apostates into a Universal battle of good v evil which plays into cultish black and white thinking.
It gives them a legal escape route for hate speech - if they drop in some despicable namecalling and use "apostates" they can later claim they were referring to demonic forces as they didn't qualify with "human" in this case. Of course the JW drone will miss the subtlety.
Anything I have missed?

Letter From My Mother: Moire insane Watchtower Rhetoric
by confusedandalone inagain, i apologize to any who think i may be going overboard posting these letters, but i am hoping that i can help prepare others for the type of bombardment that they may face when dealing with mentally diseased witness parents who have no idea just how much control this cult has over them:.
august 19, 2013. dear <my name removed> & <my wifes name removed>, .
i had the privilege of attending the convention this weekend for a second time and i must say that i enjoyed it more than the first.

Dear Mum
I think we can both agree I do have a conscience. Where we may disagree is who owns my conscience. In your world view my conscience is only a reliable guide if it helps me conform to Bible (Watchower Society) rules. In my world view every human, regardless of race or religion, has the capacity to exercise their individual or collective conscience to beneficial effect.
For informed reasons of fact and therefore for conscience reasons I can longer associate myself with the Watchtower religion. Now you may choose to ascribe my choice to other factors eg a thyroid imbalance or demon-possesed objects in my home, but I can assure you my decision is purely rational. Some examples of these facts ( something that has really occurred or is actually the case) include:
- The Watchtower has re-written their own history for favourable effect
- The Watchtower 2 witness rule and organizational need for secrecy in judicial matters for pedophiles tends to protect the abuser
- The capricious Watchtower blood fraction policy is responsible for thousands of dead JW's
- Jerusalem was destroyed in 587BCE
- YHWH does not appear in the oldest extant copies of the New Testament
These are indisputable facts. Not points of doctrine or my opinion. I hope this clears up any confusion. Please allow me to exercise my conscience, as I do you.
When the kids are old enough to understand religious intolerance issues you can explain your behaviour in person.
Kind regards
Sonny Jim.
