  Trying to get to know people on the JWD

  i havent been here that long, and just trying to get to know a little more about the people im chatting with.

  i know some dont want to share too much info, which i understand.

  so.............im divorced, have 3 kids, lived in florida for 15 years, now back home in wi.

  here's another bitch session straight from the home office in elephant butte, new mexico:.

  i just finished my psychology final today (and kicked ass, i might say).

  since the middle of the semester, i've had a major teenage-typed crush on the instructor because he's so freakin' cool (but way older than me, say, 50 or something).

  well my saga continues.... for those who don't know i am getting married this being my second time round, only difference is im marrying a non believer.

  i have been fading from the truth for bout 3 years now.. anyway just a short time ago my father (elder) suggested that they look after my son so my new husband and i could have a honeymoon.

  in holly's good-bye thread, quotes mentioned that he felt that some people were better off in high-control groups.

  i've heard othes say similar things.. but i have a difficult time with this.

  is it not true that high-control groups stiffle a person's emotional and intellectual development?

  Growing up in a controlled borg, I think I was raised as a pretty good kid. So it did have some benefits! The problem is, you turn 18, know your parents cant control you anymore, and you go out into the world thinking its Party Time!!!!!!!!!!!! At least I did. I made up for all I missed out on as a kid in just one year! LOL
