I love all of the holidays and they are an important part of my life, I make it a point to deck out my house for the holidays, I try to make memorable for my son, seeing as I have very few memories of waking up on xmas morning due to my JW childhood. I felt deprived and now I really make up for it, this helps me shed my witless past and makes me feel "normal".

All Ex-Elders, Mr.Flipper going to Final MeetingW/Elders! I'll be careful!
by flipper inhello ex-elders, onthe wayout, snakes, and wilyloman, just to refresh about a month ago i told you all that the appeal committee had overturned the disfellowshipping decision by the original jc as the appeal committee got a hold of me by phone and told me the society gave them direction in this.
i have since explained the situation to my witness mom and dad, 80 &82, they are good with it.
i am taking copies of the counsel you ex elders gave to me to be careful about what i say at this "alleged encouragement" meeting and promise you this, i'll watch my words carefully when they ask me questions.

Glad to hear that the elders got put in their place..lol they had to un-df you, talk about poor communication issues, sounds to me like the elders are the ones with the problem, but you they will never see it that way....or admit it.

Not officially, to my knowledge but certain posters that used to be here were not too happy over management and decided to do their own shunning.
Min, I am having flashbacks, posts about getting ticketed for speeding, topics being closed by mods.......

how much effort does it take to check your spelling before you post a topic??.
just read over some of the topics up for discussion right now and you'll see a very shocking (to me, at least) disregard for accuracy.. if you can't trouble yourself to get your spelling right how are the rest of us going to respect the fact you have your reasoning right either??.

I have no idea what this board is comming to, in the past few weeks all I have seen is posters nit pick about spelling, grammer and lamblast others for their lack of morals, seriously folks lighten up, it's just a discussion board.

i really love it here in the phx.
it feels like home.. if you're in the usa, philadelphia has been getting a lot of negative press regarding the murders that are occurring lately.

Were you allowed to use the bathroom during meetings?
by ericr ini have read many post on here about abuse that goes on in the kingdom hall.
one abuse i use to see involved the denial of the bathroom to children during meetings.. .
in the kingdom hall i attended like most expected children to sit still for two hours during the meetings.
