hi everyone, and thanks for all your sweet messages.

it's been a long time since i posted on here, almost 3 months i think, but i know that trev has been keeping you all updated about me, as well as printing your good wishes for me.

i don't want to dwell on my situation, but want to say how happy i am to be posting again.

What do you think the JWs will be doing on the 4th of July?

tomorrow i plan on sleeping in late and then go to a cookout.

during a day where it seems that most people will be in the yards cooking on the grill, i wonder if more jws will go out in service; and if offered a hotdog will they accept it?.

The CO and DO will be at the congregation I am suppose to be attending. I would guess many more than usual will be out..... praying that their return visits DON'T answer the door. Some may even pretend that they are ringing the doorbell.

i was first contacted by the jws in 1968 when i was pg w/our first son.

i bought the little blue book "the truth that leads to everlasting life" for 25 cents.

found it interesting, but put it away because i was busy after our son's birth and i didn't think my husband would want to get into religious material as we had left the methodist church because they were always crying for $.. jump ahead to 1970. husband was home which was unusual because he normally worked saturdays.

The back-room club...

i recently got a e-mail from a 1/2-in-the-truth witness youth who referred to the "back-room" club...anybody ever heard of this before?

is this a new witness youth expression?.

she's 15, and i think she was referring to being asked by the elders to come back in the back room at the hall after the meeting for counsel.

We called it “The Interrogation Room’” It was good cop/bad cop.

Always a bad sign if they didn’t open with a prayer. Or was it when they did?

nothing new here just a reminder to those who havent been to hall for awhile.. a workmate just had his study cut off.

there were some things he was being taught that he agreed with (trinity) some he didnt (faithful and discreet slave being a group of old men in ny).

Is his mom baptized? so was he raised around the JW's and then decided to check it out? Yes his mom is baptized but very irregular. Her son was around the organization for just a little, but nevered studied with anyone.... then left...came back after elder contacted him at the door. Juni thanks for helping me out...I know you really miss them lovin' elders. brzfst

He feels more hurt than anything else. Feels he has a relationship with God/Jehovah and must get baptizied, but doesn't want to do so in an "organization of law-lessness"
