  Frieking Bethel Heavies/COs and their second rings!

  dude, every picture i see of any bethel heavies or gb members (a lot of cos also) have them wearing a second huge gold ring!

  this is a clear sign of "hey i'm a bigshot!

  " you just dont see that in interviews of celebrities or politicials.

  Rings aren't necessarily that expensive, and could be inherited or received as gifts.

  In some cultures it is quite common for men to wear rings like that.

  Judge Rutherford's son & lineage???

  so i have been doing a little light reading regarding the whack job rutherford and find out he had a son.

  does anyone know if he had grandchildren etc?

  if so, where are they?.

  Thanks for that info. I am going to keep that little fact in my back pocket to be pulled out when a certain jw spouts her "rectal cancer is a curse from Jehovah for being gay" BS. Oh yes, I had to hear that from several jw relatives. Unfreakinbelievable.

  Wow, thanks for posting that.

  I would think it is logical that the hardest working, trustworthy, ones who wouldn't preach to children happened to be assigned to work in the homes of officers. As another poster pointed out, this seems to just speak to the individual personalities and not the general group.

  And then he goes and makes the generalization about "all of" them having the same attitude about Jews--which we know exactly mirrors what wts put in its publications about Jews.

  Don't know what to make of this--the source, the statements, etc. Wow though.

  OP, may we have the title of the book?

  What you are witnessing is real. The participants are not actors. They are actual judicial committees with an appeal pending in a kangaroo court. Both parties have agreed to dismiss their court cases and have their disputes settled here, in our forum: The People's Court. Judge Wapner is not an Elder, which is totally fine because Judge Rutherford was not a judge. He will use common sense to settle this, unlike the Elders. Will he order anyone to be shunned?   Oh, just checked it in context. Makes a *little* more sense now. Before, it's hinting at bloodguilt and a xian's responsibility not to infect anyone. After, it talks about blood. mmkay.

  But anyway, they never taught you can't touch or kiss a corpse. Maybe they're saying it now, in the specific situation of Ebola and the like, but it's never been a global thing with them.

  Embalming is "cleaning and dressing" a corpse:

  What do you mean, "fabricated load of rubbish"? Multiple media sites are reporting this same quote from the government, and the articles states the UN Women's somethingorother is involved as well.

  It's not clear what is meant--other articles are saying dubs are involved in relief efforts.
