  an elder gets it on w jw lady and she gets pregnant, instead of dffing them, or just the lady, why not df the baby? Yes, dffing the baby is the perfect way, jehovah's way.

  That's a good line of reasoning Satanus. Why DON'T they df the baby? That WOULD be 'following after the bible'. After all, they did kill the ones who "turned aside" in the (man written) bible. And now they use that as example to "kill" ones who don't follow them by dffing.

  14 year old rejected by father for not becoming jw

  ok quick recap of events leading to this.

  my dtr married young to prominent family in wtbs...had dtr...dtr now 14 years old....my dtr left hubby and wtbs about 10 yrs ago....she is doing very well in life...... she told me today her 14 years old dtr has not heard from her father (x-hubby) for over a month....why i ask???

  ?because she does not want to become a jw...............he now basically has very little , if anything, to do with her due to this.

  No matter what age a child is when they are rejected by their parents it hurts deeply.

  This is so true. I'm not totally rejected just because I'm not DF'd or DA'd (yet...it's coming)...but they are so close to doing the shunning by treating me so badly that they may as well do it now. It's always a cold feeling to talk with my parents now...and even my siblings.

  My 6 year old son even sees it. He was mad one day that he wanted to talk with grandma...well, I let him and he said "Grandma, I love you, but I'm DFing you and Grandpa because you're DFing mom and dad (AA is DF'd), and then hung up." Ooops, didn't know he was going to do that. We had to have a discussion on being kinder and showing love.

  Anyway, my parents feel that they are doing this out of love. And that's probably what her daddy's doing. The only thing is, he doesn't realize that this will actually push her away from him even more.

  Kids see that there is no...and I mean NO love in this "shunning" thing. It'll hurt him later.

  well my dear and trusted friends on this most esteemed forum...i would like you to meet my newest addition..."freedom frog".

  he now graces my right arm and has been adopted into my family of frog tattoos.

  (gizmo, on my left front leg above my ankle and flipper, another little frog above my right ankle, but to the side).

  I collect frogs for my garden beds and have yet to find one with wings.

  I collect frogs too!!! I've got all kinds...and like you, I also don't any with wings. Now that's gonna hafta change.

  How do you know when your spouse is cheating on you?

  okay, i know this is personal, but i kind of like the annoninimity of the board versus asking my friends who are all also friends with my husband.. my husband went out of the country with a group from work this weekend.

  i was supposed to go but had to cancel due to other stuff.

  it turned out only 4 ended up going, my husband, a guy, and two women.

  She was actually the one who was calling and trying to get a yes from him, but I think that's just because she wanted a bigger group...

  That right there sounds suspicious already. Did she ask you to come? Was she calling before she found out that he may be going alone. It sounds like she's trying to weaken your husband. She may have more plans than just wanting a "bigger" group.

  Wow!!! This would make me VERY angry. I AM a jealous wife...and I feel I have the right to be. He's MY husband and I'm not willing to share...EVEN if it is innocent.

  Hi D... I think you'll find this board to be a blast.

  trick is to wait for 14 mins, then run out and give someone a tract and then start counting time again and then take another 14 min break.
  

  So....THAT'S what I was doing wrong. I always wondered why I HATED service.
