i would love to be reunited with some of the people i grew up with in good old c-town (cleveland).

Sam, Yes, Mucks moved there, I don't know if you know the story, kind of under pressure. I didn't remember hearing that Coopers moved to Fla. Artie moved there (one of the first) My bro-in law Loyd has altzhimers (sp?) I think his wife is going to get a winter home in Fla. There are others who also moved to Fla. Some others in my family.

Hi Sam, As you may know, Ed is my nephew. He is in the Daytona Beach, Fla. area and is still a JW (on the outside) Liggett is still Liggett, hanging in there (riding the fence and hoping not to fall off) I saw him about three years ago when I was demonstrating at the Nutter Center in Dayton. He would not speak of course but he was very interested in what I (we) were doing. He is still in Muncie.

I am closer to Larc's age group. I live in West Central Ohio, close to Indiana. But I know some people (some relatives) that may have partied in that area. Eddie Gardiner, Larry Liggett and a lot of guy's they ran around with.

yeh i was wondering if christmas was christian because i was told it was rooted in pagan celebrations not do with christ but to do with false gods etc but is this really so,think about it arent the days supposed to be named after gods and isnt the wedding ring pagan also so should we then not celebrate are wedding anniversarys then what about birthdays i think the birth of your child is something to celebrate dont you.
During Christmas when I drive back and forth to work (30+ miles each way) I see all of the decorations, some are really outstanding, I think about the honor it brings to my Lord and Savour.
I know that many of the people in those houses do not even believe in God, but to me it all represents the birth of Jesus and all that He has done, is doing, and will do for the world.
We can make Christmas mean whatever we want to us, we do not have to worry what it means or does not mean to someone else.

I think you were right April. I have a very nice JW woman working for me. She is catching on that I know too much, but she has continued to be very nice. I am getting a little more free talking to her since she will be leaving at the end of this month. If she were mean or confrontational I would probably be a lot different toward her, but since she is so nice and kind I respond that way.
