brenda,
: I also don't like Paul, the supposed apostle.
consequences of actions considered, history surely has few more egregious figures.

yesterday i ordered something from amazon.com.
i wanted the package quickly (today), so i chose one-day delivery.
afterwards, i got my receipt and it said it'd arrive on the 25th.
something weird is going on at amazon. i have bought many items using amazon recently and yet yesterday they told me that i had bought nothing at all from them. they said the same thing to a friend who is also a frequent user. what the hell's going on there? they've got my bank details, and it makes me nervous!

yes but before you get the strap-ons out, bear in mind that this is saul /paul speaking who made clear his belief that women were barely fit for life in this world, let alone god's. you have yourself just come perilously close to expressing an opinion. kerBAMMMMMMMMMMM! get down "sister".

it's a shame that nobody ever looked good in responding to the question, "do you have faith in god?
", by answering "no".
it makes one seem.....well, a bit of an onion.
it's a shame that nobody ever looked good in responding to the question, "do you have faith in god?", by answering "no". it makes one seem.....well, a bit of an onion. but why? i imagine that this is a product of the associating of faith only with objects worthy of our approval - when was the last time that anybody asked you if you had faith in the devil? - and the misappropriation of those *happy* vibes to the unfortunate subject, of whom the question is demanded. if one has the faith in the good thing, then somehow it is likely to be the case that one is a good person. if one doesn't have faith in the good thing, then one is seen to be deficient not only in faith but also in the goodness that is thought by the questioner to attend the object of this faith. one could try to deal with this, assuming it's a dub asking the question, by simply rubbishing their god - there's plenty of scope for that as we know - but it would be more interesting and honest to examine faith itself. unfortunately, this tends not to happen since the pondlife with whom one is talking has already started packing his bags. faith's very own self protection mechanism!

poor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.
the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.
last weekend she actually looked a little better.
Nina,
sorry to hear this unwelcome news. i hope that you get over your loss just as speedily as you can.

" i was thinking today about hating the wts, and you know i really do, and for many reasons which i won't really get into here.. on this thought, i imagined the jwd (jesus' wacky discussion forum) website of 2000 years ago.
i'm sure many of jesus' new followers would start threads about having their hands cut off, being stoned and the secret backroom shenanigans of the pharisees.
all there is, is hate here!
