  What Bothers You The Most About Jehovah's Witnesses?

  for me, i think it's their hypocrisy.

  they lead (the vast majority) a double life.

  and ultimately they look down on anyone not a jw yet they won't even wn up to it.

  i thought i would open up a thread on firearms and shooting.

  personally i was raised around firearms as my dad was not a jw.

  some of my earliest memories are of my dad teaching me how to put a round in a fleas ass at 200 meters.

  I've been gut shot at point blank range with a .357 mag. and it's only by the Grace of God that I'm alive.

  I'm still a gun owner and wouldn't hesitate to use it if I had to, however, I would try every other means of

  securing my safety before pulling the trigger.

  I'm with you on this one Justice. I don't shoot or hunt anymore because my circumstances have change,

  however, at one point in my life I had to hunt for food for the table. It's unfortunate that many people

  deride hunters and shooters when they have no idea what they are talking about; they have no idea what

  the hunter's " high' is like . . . .even if it's just walking the woods, trying to outsmart your game. I feel

  sorry for people like that, but like ELmore Leonard saus, the great crimer, " They have the brain of a

  chicken and they believe everything they think.'

  when i visited my jw son and daughter a few weeks ago my daughter referred to the witnesses as .

  having " true christianity.

  " is this just another new phrase that bethel comes up with every so often to.

  i see the excitement and thrill when a jw gets nailed for pedophilia.

  i'm happy when any of these creeps get caught.

  but i just don't think that this is what will bring down the organization.

  No, I don't think it will, AND I hope that people will not look at the exposers as copycats of the ones

  revealing the pedophile priests. People, unfortunately are , at first, cynical of those who bring to light

  something that has been going on for a long time. Then, later, after much work, they slowly begin to

  understand what's happening.

  But, pressure is pressure and in the long run it works.

  Are there any active JW's that we can thank for helping catch these guys ? Oh ! That's right . . .the JW's are "above" those that help save people's lives, and just don't get involved in " worldly" affairs.
