Poor snake . . .hope he got away, but it looks like he was electrocuted.
i am amazed at how many people still squabble over religious matters here.
ill admit, i was ready to da before i came to this board, through my education at university i released that evolution is not just an evil theory that satan came up with to mislead the minds of humans away from god, as the wts would have you believe, but rather it is a solid scientific theory, and without it, nothing in modern biology would make since.
think about it for a minute what if i said i am going to tell you a story about three children, all age 4, tommy is a republican, mohamed is democrat and david is a liberal.
You seem to be speaking from an idealist's point of view, which of course is very honorable.
I once thought that way myself . . .and I still dream of it, however, religion in one form or another will always be a part of my life.
Good luck.
knocking documentary newsletter #1 summer 2005. .
witnesses.
stories of real families to humanize jehovah's witnesses.
I' ve been in touch with the East Lansing Film Festival people ( the ones screening this film at Michigan State ) and I have arranged for 150 flyers to be distributed asking the question, " Jehovah's Witnesses a cult ? " then " Read . . .' In The Truth ' . . . along with info from the back of the book. Wish I had a scanner so I could show it to you all, but I do not. I did send a copy to Randy Watters. He may not get it before Monday.
According to the ELFF people, they expect a large turnout and they may have to show the film in a larger auditorium.
i often find myself engaged in outdoors activities.
once while fly-fishing on a sunday, i realized a deep spiritual feeling.
standing in a trout stream, watching an otter swim by, and listening to the gurgle of moving water, i felt closer to god than i ever had in a kingdom hall.. has anyone else ever felt this?
" During these trips Jim released his soul to the wilderness, two became one. And so it happened shortly after he turned twelve that the Spirit- voice of the wild crept into him, and his life changed forever. He was no longer the lonely, fatherless boy with the terrible ache in his heart, for he discovered when he answered the Spirit-voice and would venture into the Everglades, that he stopped aching. Was it his father's voice? He didn't have the answer,he just knew he had FOUND his father! And he was everywhere. He found him in the sparkling eyes of the Island Glass lizard, the perpetual smile of the little Cuban treefrog, the eternal strength of the Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake, the enduring patience of the loggerhead turtle, and in the elegant majesty of the master of the air, the bald eagle. "
i've tried to bring up the " stoning video " that i saw here last week .

has " big brother " put a stop to it ?
I've tried to bring up the " stoning video " that I saw here last week . . .http://dollehond.nl/movie/steniging.htm . . .but it will not come up. Has " Big Brother " put a stop to it ? Does anyone know ?
what was the latest figure for memorial partakers?
there has been plenty of feedback to suggest that the wt consider many to be wrongly partaking of the bread & wine and don't accept this whole number to be truly of the remnant of the 144,000. we'll be generous and say that they are all genuine.. take women out of the equation and you may be left with about 4000 men - the ladies live longer ;).
remove those that don't speak english and you may be down to perhaps 3000. remove those that cannot relocate to the usa and you might be left with 2000. remove those that may actually decline an invitation to the governing body - well not too many i guess so let's stick at 2000. remove those that require constant nursing or healthcare and you could be down to your last 1000. finally, remove those who are simply not up to the job .
MKR . . .
i have observed some people drifting away from the watchtower who will acknowledge that most witness beliefs are false.. however, they may still cling to "neutrality" as a means of assuring themselves that "it's still the truth".
the witness idea of neutrality is naive.
as entire nations now mobilize for wars, the idea that you are somehow 'not part of it'.
When I was a younger man I may have become a conscientious objector, but I did not, and I stand proud today because I didn't. Today, the world is faced with an enormous sense of change which is coming from a facist religious front seemingly destined to spread their ideology across the globe no matter the cost.
I'll stand and fight against that tyranny, just like my forefathers did, in order to protect me and my family.

vatican to muslims: practice what you preach.
feb 23, 12:54 pm (et).
I feel I must follow up on my post because I believe that there are many more Muslims who truly despise the actions of their " brothers ( and sisters ) in faith " than those who do not. I can't imagine having to "explain away" these atrocities to my neighbors and associates.
for my job, i need to come up with a couple dozen drink ideas for spring/summer.
i need some fruity, tropical type shyte.
i have quite a few that i've concocted myself, but being mainly a beer/whiskey sort of fella, my imagination is running a little thin when it comes to the frooty dpt.. any ideas?
Yeah, they're kick - butt, alright . . .and they sneak up ya. One minute I've having something close to a fairly discernable conversation and then all of a sudden I find myself being escorted out of the bar by a couple of real big dudes.
