do spirit creatures have souls?
do jws believe that spirit creatures (angels, cherubs, jehovah etc)
have - are souls?
I've had several moslems explain their beliefs to me and one is that the Angels have no soul but are more akin to robots with no independent reasoning power.
But Satan and the fallen Angels, possessed independent seasoning because they were able to reason that they could do without Jehovah in charge.

what will happen at armageddon when non-jw's and jehovahs witnesses live in the same house.
how will jehovah make sure that the fireballs hit the non-jw's but the jehovahs witnesses remain unharmed.

Seriously though, if you have to watch your entire family get they skulls cracked open by falling rocks or get swallowed in the ground you're gonna be pretty pissed off with God afterwards... and if you're not then you're pretty sick.
it's really good to read stories of other people that have experienced some of the same things i have.
i haven't ever posted or even talked to another ex-jw except for my uncle who i have just recently started a relationship with.
the sad thing is that i am 30 years old and i am still struggling with the past....i'm soo sick of it.
Someone once told me that when you split up with a lover it takes roughly the same number of years that you knew them to get them completly out of your system. I'm comming to the conclusion that this might also apply to former religions.
As someone said to me the other day, it gets easier the longer you are out.

Glad to be of help MsMcD :) Tell her to be careful poking around in the bios though she could end up changing a setting which would then make the comp inoperable all together. Then you'd have to undo the case and remove a battery There should have been a bios option that said something like "first boot device" and then as options "floppy disk drive, Hard drive, Cd-rom, Sata, usb device" all you had to do was set the first boot device for Cd-rom. She'll have to put the hard drive back in the settings or when you try to fix the computer the computer wont be able to find the hard drive that's damaged. If you need any further help you know where I am :) Ps your Eldest deserves a pat on the back, not many would have the guts to play about in a computer bios
not ever having been a jw, i was curious to know something.... are witnesses ever encouraged to do good works for the less fortunate?
(giving to the poor, working in a soup kitchen, helping the elderly, other volunteer work, etc..).
i know scripture states you will know believers by their "fruit".
Their way of thinking is that the worlds going to be destroyed any day now so why waste time and money trying to support it. The best way to help people is to help them change their lives for the better through a closer understanding of Jehovah and his loving arrangements.
