  hey folks, again the videos aren't as exciting as the title makes them seem.

  i'm trying to be pun-ny since we're dealing with the blood doctrine here.. i think here is a fantastic example of how you can respond to the textbook answer about how fractions of blood are accepted, even to the point of reconstituted blood and not the whole blood itself.

  it does involve a slight knowledge of what makes up blood, but not a whole lot.

  witnesses use the term 'publisher' instead of 'preacher' to describe their position in the congregation.

  that should be a dead give away that they are salespeople working for a book publishing company verses preachers who are working for god.

  i can't believe i never saw something this obvious.

  4.	to make publicly or generally known.

  The title "salesperson" of a publisher would be more accurate.

  a person who sells goods, services, etc.

  IT IS THE BEST WAY OF LIFE, says my Dub sister.

  as some may remember, i posted about being dubious as to accepting anniversary presents this year from my super-dub family, esp.

  my older sister.. well we agreed with the consensus on here that it was best to accept with gratitude and this we have done, but i would just like to reproduce what she wrote in the card accompanying the present and flowers.. after the happy anniversary she wrote :.

  "it makes us sad to think of all the anniversaries past when you were part of our christian congregation.

  My reply might be:

  I am so sorry to hear you are sad for me, please don't be.

  I am very happy with my life now.

  I'm glad you found the "best way of life" for yourself.

  The "best way of life" for me is something different.

  Thank you for caring about me, I care about you to.

  Logistical problems of the new system...

  just supposing that you belive in it... i used to always wonder, how on earth are we going to get from one country to the other?

  i mean old type ships used to take months to get around!

  what about land travel?

  I shudder to think as to how I could survive without these blessings from Jah.

  What's with JW's and X-mas lights?..........

  i mean i remember growing up as a jw and then 15 baptized adults years, and every year all the jw's would say something to the effect, "lets go look at all the pretty lights", or they would tell their neighbors that they really liked their lights.

  and i remember teaching my kids the same thing, that it's ok to look at the lights (but not ok to like anything else about x-mas, oh regrets!

  ) doesn't that seem weird or something?

  The phrase "The Truth"

  so, i am curious..... how many of you have a hard time getting that phrase out of your vocabulary?.

  i have been conscienciously trying not to use it at all, so now when i am in a conversation with a jw, its amazing how often they use that phrase.

  i look back and wonder "god, did i say that that often?

  Then ask them, "are you telling me you are in Jesus, and Jesus is in you?"

  I actually have used this. I just got the 'deer in headlights look'.

  If they are in Jesus they would then be part of the 144,000. No?

  Watchtower claiming to be the "truth", w hat an enormous insult to Jesus.

  C.O.'s: Why Are Elders Such Cowards?

  the stories never stop.

  abusive, egotistical, demanding, ungrateful and arrogant circuit overseers all over the place and "men" -the elders - take it.. i have seen a number of these itinerant predators offend entire congregations with their behavior and i can count the incidents where elders actually showed some b@lls and stood up to them on one hand.

  why are elders such cowards?

  the dec. 2009 awake asks the question, what kind of star led the "wise men" to jesus?

  it concludes that the "star was from an evil source, most likely satan the devil" ( pg 11).

  i see the logic , yes....... since herod wanted to kill jesus, a great personage of pure evil must be behind the 'star'.

  Look at the marvelous design of the mosquito in sucking blood or the guinea worm that travels thru the blood stream? Or the parasitic liver fluke?

  How about dinosaurs, with sharp horns, fangs, canine teeth?

  I wonder if there will be dinosaurs in the new system?
