As I see it no religous group has the right to tell another human whom he can or cannot do business with there is nothing in the bible that says you can do that.

Disfellowshipping decision to go before Canadian Supreme Court
by Simon inhigh court will examine whether judicial review applies to membership decisions made by religious groups.
the supreme court of canada has agreed to hear an appeal involving a calgary man who was kicked out of his jehovah's witness church.. randy wall, a real estate agent was "disfellowshipped" from the highwood congregation for being drunk on two occasions and allegedly verbally abusing his wife.. as a result, he says his clients refused to do further business with him, so he argued his property and civil rights were affected.. after losing three internal church appeals of his expulsion, wall made an application with the court of queen's bench in calgary which ordered a hearing to first determine if there was jurisdiction for the court to hear the application.. decisions and appeals.
a judge decided the superior court did have jurisdiction to hear the application.. the church then appealed wall's decision to the alberta court of appeal, which upheld the court of queen's bench, affirming the court has jurisdiction to hear the matter.. one of the three appeal court judges dissented — arguing that congregations are private organizations akin to bridge clubs, whose decisions "are not enforceable promises and have limited, if any, impact outside its small circle.".

why do religions enjoy shunning.
because many people feel like being close to god makes them special however just being special is not enough for many religious people that shun they must feel extra special how?

It finally hit me today. Why do religions enjoy shunning. Because many people feel like being close to God makes them special however just being special is not enough for many religious people that shun they must feel extra special How? By not speaking to someone they feel has been abandoned by God himself so if my religous leaders tell me that John has been abandoned by God and you want to feel close to God you must also abandon John or you will not be close to God . That's the reasoning wow and it works psychologicaly.

"Overlapping Generation" is a "Spiritual Generation" - a letter to the governing body
by jwleaks in11 march 2017. dear governing body of jehovah's witnesses,.
could you please introduce the phrase "spiritual generation" to replace the phrase "overlapping generation".
it would save us all a lot of confusion.. an online search of your publications dating back to 2000 showed that this term has never been used.. http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/s/r1/lp-e?q="spiritual+generation"&p=par.

I use the word force because it becomes emotional blackmail. 10 signs of social puppuppeteer
Look it up in psychology today. And by force I mean there are consequences that a person lives with while on one hand they choose to be a Jw and on the other hand if they do not practice shunning they will be shunned that's emotional forceing.

If the you believe the article then people have a choice to choose there association and still be a witness without the idea of loosing all your friends who are told if they associate with you after you have diasociated from an organization that you are not dedicated to then you are shunned. That's not what the watchtower said so you can't have it both ways.

I wrote to Mr. Angus Stewart regarding the "inactive" status claims made by the Watchtower at the ARC
by EdenOne inthis is the email i have just sent to mr. stewart angus, who has been conducting the questioning of the jw leaders during the australian royal commission dealing with child abuse cases among the jehovah's witnesses, concerning the claims made that a jehovah witness who wishes to walk away from the organization can simply become inactive and avoid being shunned:.
dear mr. angus stewart,
i have followed with interest the videos of the arc regarding the jehovah's witnesses in australia.

Another line of reasoning you can quote this week's watchtower study paragraph 13 and 15 free will
